I think you'll like the mat eventually. It handles heat well and the hot glue will be very easy to remove. Paint and other stuff wipes off well. The only thing is don't cut it or spill glitter lol I learned the hard way. Love the project. I started out with mine and kept some tape close by to pick up the paper pieces. Eventually I bought a couple of tiny brushes that you use on computers. Those help with the tiny pieces of paper. Just some happy suggestions for you. ❤
@@CathysGardenllc I have a few different sizes of silicone mats. I lay the silicone mat down and put my cutting mat on top if I need it. I also have that same glass thing you use. So I completely get you on that. I hope you find what works for you.
What do you mean by a journal topper? Does it just mean something that goes on a page? To me topper sounds like something you would put at the top of a journal card like yarn or string.
A journal topper is a piece you put on top of your cover of your journal. I did not give it this name it’s just what junk journal crafters call it. 😉🥰💐
