I find it surprising that both the zombies and the villagers are smarter than the villagers lol. Knowing that the villagers built so many villages across the Minecraft world and yet they can't seem to even figure out how to tell running away from zombies from *running into them* is hilarious.
Villagers had 80 IQ in their testing video
2:26 The reason why zombie cannot make through this level was because the mob's AI pathfinding is based on the shortest route to the destination. You see when the zombie goes up to the front entrance, the piston pushes up the iron block, blocking the zombie, which then the zombie's AI has detected the next shortest route which is going to the side entrance. However when he deactivated the piston, his AI has detected the shortest route again which is the front entrance. This explains why

The zombies will always go the shortest path not the safest but they might go the safest path if both paths are the same length

Fun Fact:Most hostile mobs actually go the shortest path to get their prey.
The AI coding of hostile mobs make them go the closest way to their prey, so the zombie would always choose the shorter path, even if it is dangerous.

The thing is with ai they find the quickest way to their path so they don't know how to walk around
They also think that trap doors are full blocks, so that’s why some people make a moat and put tons of trap doors with it

This is correct. All mobs will recognize trapdoors as full blocks, so, if a trapdoor is open and falls into a pit, mobs will walk over it and into said pit.

Dude, Jordan. How do you not know that Zombies can't walk over rails.The snow golems attack the zombies, so the zombie must attack too. And iron golems are a little strong for zombies. 🙄😐

In Zombie's AI, they can't and don't jump, they only AUTO JUMP, which means that they will only jump over a block that's blocking it's path OR go around it, so I think the one with the lava pit and the villager trapped on the center, shouldn't have any points subtracted, + 10 pts. at the end.
Edit: they will only jump if they can't get up something that has an opening to jump in, they won't be able to jump in lava.
