- Alaçatı is a charming town on Turkey's Çeşme Peninsula, on the Aegean Sea. It's known for its old stone houses with colourful doors and shutters, cobblestone streets that are lined with bougainvilleas, windmills as well as traditional winemaking and beautiful beaches.

Alaçati, as well as Çeşme and Eski Foça are old Greek towns whose beautiful old stone houses, churches and windmills, as well as citrus fruit trees and mastic gum (brought over from the Greek island of Chios) were all built and established by Greek people under Ottoman rule. Unfortunately the Greek people who created these towns, architecture and industries were forced to leave their homes in the early part of the twentieth century. You should try to give some historical background to these places you feature.
Indeed they are and we know. Usually, we don't talk about the history of places but you are right. It's nice to include such info.
@@tiptopturkey There are towns in modern Greece that Turks created as well, such as Giannitsa (Yenice in Turkish) There are also many beautiful Ottoman Turkish-built Islamic and non-Islamic buildings and structures in Greece. Turkey and Greece are amazing countries with inter-related histories. Turkish people are lovely and hospitable people too.
You should get a proper microphone
Hi, you are right about the voice it is not clear, it is not from the microphone, there was a background music and we tried to cut it off, otherwise TH-cam will stop our videos because of licenses required for the music. We are trying to avoid such things from reoccurring while filming 🎥. Thank you! 😊
Thank you. Lovely video.

Hello! Are you fron Alaçati? I'd like to go there but it's difficult to get transfer from Kusadasi!!
Hi, no, I am not from Alaçati, did the video after we visited it. I think you can go by bus to Izmir, then from Izmir to Alaçati.
@@tiptopturkey ....thank you for your attention!!
How to go from Izmir to Alacati? The cheapest option?
Great job👌
