Recording this song made me think; does anyone else miss the ICONIC 2011-2013 Tumblr music era where "Alt-R&B" was just beginning to bloom, hipster was a 'legitimate' way to describe people & House of Balloons mixtape was EVERYTHING??
I found Childish Gambino, Clams Casino, Frank Ocean, Lana Del Rey, A$AP Mob, OF, Tinashe, Miguel, Jhene Aiko, Kreayshawn, LiL Debbie, Lil B & of course The Weeknd the same way. Even now, it gasses me up so much whenever I see any of them winning in life!
