Great video, we have just gotten into home embroidery and digitizing is super overwhelming!
I would love to see videos on those new satin techniques as satin stitching is what we are super excited to do!
Thank you for watching the video! We’ll add this to our video ideas list, great suggestion!
Thanks for making these videos! I'm excited to make my first embroidery project using InkStitch
Of course! Good luck on your embroidery project!
Thanks for making these videos! I just got an embroidery machine and these are so helpful.
Thanks for watching our videos! Glad they could help you!
Thank you SO MUCH for yet another wonderful and brilliantly helpful video on Inkstitch. Your previous videos have helped me incalculably and this is no exception. It's great to get a summary of all the new features without having to go looking for them. I'm especially eager to learn more about the fill to stroke feature possibly in combination with a tapered stroke?? (which I think was shown at the end of this video as something you were going to discuss in a future video?). It is a feature I've been looking for and it looks like it now might be possible. Either way I look forward to your next video with great eagerness. Thanks again and greetings from Ireland! :)
I’m happy you’ve found our videos helpful! We’ll try to eventually cover this new feature once we research it more. Thank you for the nice comment!
Thanks for sharing

I want to be able to do hand written items to embroidery or kids picture drawn. which one is the best thing to watch. I have both programs downloaded
We recommend watching these videos to get you started: th-cam.com/video/mPaGwjwpzWc/w-d-xo.html, th-cam.com/video/OcnK0KRFEdE/w-d-xo.html , and th-cam.com/video/P82I9U4z-mk/w-d-xo.html Here is our playlist on all Ink/stitch videos: th-cam.com/play/PLtQ8IvTMaEGI3NeU2MppOkukHviNKmrJl.html&feature=shared
I Recently received an embroidery machine, but after seeing your videos I am obsessed with learning Ink/Stitch. I just tried to set-up, for me, a very complicated file and I don't know how to explain the issues I have, is there any way I can send the file to you to see if you can tell me how to fix my problems so I will have that knowledge for later? TIA

Hi, can we get a video on Autofill settings please? i am trying to embroider a design, however when embroidering it, its really thick and even broke a needle but i cant find anywhere to change this
This video should help with those settings: th-cam.com/video/8HKrLML1mIY/w-d-xo.html Hopefully this helps! If not let us know and we can either point you to another video we think could be helpful or we can add the topic to our list of video ideas. Thanks for watching!
I am just starting to use ink stitch. Has it change so much that videos from 2-3 years ago will just be confusing?
Basic concepts will be the same, but there seem to be way more features with the current version compared to when we put our first videos out (saving pes files for one is completely different). We tried our best in later videos to cover these changes. Thanks for watching!
unfortunately I am on Windows 11 and nothing seems to be the same - choosing meander did nothing then I lost the right side tool bar - ugh not sure this is helpful for me but thanks I guess
I hope you can help. I uploaded an embroidery file to Inkstitch so I could crop it. Once cropped I tried to run the simulator/realistic preview and it did not run. Do I need to do something else to make it work? Thank you so much if you can reply to me.
We haven't ever attempted cropping an already digitized embroidery .pes file, because an embroidery file like .pes contains instructions for an embroidery machine to process your project. As far as we are aware you can't just crop it. Check out this video for more info: th-cam.com/video/OC4AihjskeE/w-d-xo.html
Hello, I want to turn a pdf file into embroidery with inkstitch, but I cannot draw the details in the photo and color the areas. Can you help with this please?
We aren't sure where in the process you are running into trouble. You might want to check out our tutorials 1-4 and Top 5 Ink/Stitch Tips for beginners in our Ink/Stitch playlist: th-cam.com/play/PLtQ8IvTMaEGI3NeU2MppOkukHviNKmrJl.html&feature=shared
i get always this error what can i do ?
Ink/Stitch doesn't know how to work with any of the objects you've selected. Please check if selected elements are visible.
Tip: Run Extensions > Ink/Stitch > Troubleshoot > Troubleshoot Objects
We aren't exactly sure what your issues could be, here is the troubleshooting page: inkstitch.org/docs/troubleshoot/ You could try to reach out to the developers if your issue persists.
I don't know if you already figured out the problem or not but here's what it most likely is. You're trying to run the simulator or params and one or more of the layers that you're trying to simulate is hidden on the layers tab. There's a small eyeball on the right of each layer and if it's closed that means it's hidden and you can't run a simulation with it.
