Hi Alvin, I got exactly the same experience as you as I applied for a job and verbally confirmed by a shop manager but their HR not sure about the BNO LOTR. Although I sent them the government link and explain to them, I still got no news from them. I think the application is failed now. Anyway, if you really want to get a job, I suggest you look for Warehouse Operative in your area, they urgently need manpower. If you apply today, they ask you to report duty tomorrow and they provide an attendance bonus during Xmas. Please try. Hope you can get a job soon.

Don't worry, you will learn a lot about how to survive by yourself, and becoming independent in the end. My life was much worst than this, with my own family an relatives doing the sabotage for their own gain. I was so angry that I left the UK and migrated to the other side of the world and start a new life, the hardship I had been through actually build up a set of survive skills, together with multiple qualifications that I got over the years, I am using the survival skills that I learnt in bad times to earn a living.

If you cannot work or study, HO will stamp "no work and no study" on your passport. If no such words on your passport that means you can work and study.
Contact your local council or civic center as well if they can help , maybe grant you a letter as a exception to show you are allowed to work as per the LOTR rules. Good luck!

If you cannot work or study, HO will stamp "no work and no study" on your passport. If no such words on your passport that means you can work and study.
