Oh please, please, PLEASE resume your memory planning!!! I absolutely love watching you create your memory planning pages and learn so much from you!!! You are one of my favorites FOR SURE!!
Love it! You are the one who got me started! Thank you! I just wanted to tell you, it's okay that you stopped. You can still go back and make one for 2020! 😊 I have a hard time keeping up with it on a day to day basis, but as I get time, I go back and print photos to put in my book. That is, if you saved all of your photos. I save all my photos, so I can still go back and add to my memory planner when I am able to take the time. 😁 Hope that helps! Love your videos! Thanks for the inspiration!
This memory planning just might push me to learn to use my camera again. Yes, I can take pics on my phone, but my husband and I bought the camera with gift funds from our 30th anniversary party. I am writing this today on the 3rd anniversary of the day my husband passed away. We only had 32 years together, but he helped me make the most of them. I also have a question list from a memory calendar I gave to my parents and in-laws for mother's day and father's day one year. They never wrote in it (VERY SAD). But, when I found my mother's, I decided to try to answer the questions, which were written for the Greatest Generation, who remember Pearl Harbor or the Kennedy Assassination (today as of this writing). A lot of the questions might not have applied to me, but I said so in the response and added another question that would make sense. Also, for other days I would add A DAY IN HISTORY and how I felt or what happened to me that day. In a sense, you have to make these questions fit you. It's great for people who like to write about their memories.
I memory planned throughout most of 2019 and fell off at the end of the year. Just yesterday, I went through it for the holiday and decided to get back at it and did almost a whole month's worth. So this photo came at the best time!
I really like that you write on your pages. I type all my journaling in my memory planner, sometimes it takes me longer because of that. I agree with others, can’t wait to see you create memory planner pages again.
I have two big happy planners that I used for memory planning. I have one for this year but with covid just was doing a lot so now I have pictures in my journal so that I can at least have memories from that week. If I need an extra page that week for the pictures then I add it. It's one of the things I love about Happy Planner. I do plan on going back to a big Happy Planner in 2021.
I memory plan once or twice a month in a happy planner I got at seventy percent dis count I mark favorite photos throughout the month using my regular iPhone photos app I do one of two batches of photo printing at Walgreens each month when I have errands to run nearby Walgreens faster than doing lots on my ZIP printer I focus on the monthly dividers I reuse some of the planned pages in between either gluing photos over dated stuff or coveting in scrapbook paper Sometimes I JUST hole punch the photos and they sit at different points on the page Sometimes I journal a liftLE This RENINDS ME OF many POSITIVE MOMENTS IN A CHALLENGING YEAR and also of love I share with people and pets
Love this video and your memory planning playlist ! Lots of great inspiration. ✨ I just received a Selphy printer for my birthday. Looking forward to getting started.
To make time - i integrate photo journal task once or twice a month - along with organizing and cleaning up photos on phone Integrate that photo maintenance with phone backup and syncing - never used to do that but since I began planning I do those once a week I use transfer to Walgreens as further winnowing of photos important to me Plan and integrate Walgreens pickup with other shopping there / close by Walgreens ALWAYS has a big coupon Which means I don’t feel bad only using a subset of what’s printed- which is already a subset of all photos on phone for the month Once or twice a month I PLAN FOR and select key photos from Walgreens batch If hardly any time I use MAMBI punch to pop them into photo journal planner If a little more time I create new pages with scrapbook paper and use combination of gluing, washi flips ,and hole punching to create my MONTHLY photo journal Minimal hand written notes sometimes It’s not fancy Some pages cuter than others I use big planners I got for 70 percent off in February at micheals I recycle the happy planner pages in various ways - usually as backing for scrapbook paper Though sometimes just glue photos to those planner pages Sometimes collage bits of cute stuff around the blank spots Mainly use the month tabs and cover for this I use the big rings I made a punched scrapbook pocket where I save off photos not used I use those photos various other times in hand written cards, bulletin board, and .... I just end up using some of them This year I needed two of these discount planners Even with big rings This once or twice a month project gets it done, is very satisfying, helps a lot with overall photo maintenance And I really enjoy flipping through Btw I never used to enjoy keeping photo albums Keep Polaroid zip for occasional sticker in my weekly or monthly Catch all planner Sticker printer takes a lot more time per photo My catch all planner is spiral bound
I know this is an old video but I had an idea for the monthly as well. There used to be a challenge on IG and FB with monthly photo challenges. Just a food for thought ideas
Have you ever used the canon ivy printer? It's like an hp sprocket.. I love canon cameras so I was wondering if you had any experience with the ivy since you like the selphy
Is this a memory planning planner? Or just a Classic sized? Big sized? What planner size do I need to buy in order to be able to print my photos on a 4x6 and have them fit perfectly? Thanks
julie curry They are the same size. The memory planners just have a tiny bit different format and some extra pages. They don’t seem to make them anymore either, so the big planner is a good substitute.
I'd love to know the size to fit in the mini as well! My granddaughter and I are working on hers! Just scored a BIG memory planner so planning to start my own (for the first time) in January! Yikes!!
How would I memory plan with pictures and I don't have any dates. Some are older pics and some are about four years old. Mainly of my Mom who passed four years ago.
I just wrote comment about how I do monthly photo journaling Maybe that helps? Do you have hobbies? For example I admire flowers in various gardens and other public settings I photograph those and sometimes use the free iNaturalist app to identify names I don’t know Flowers really fill out a blank month Or sewing projects Or sewing inspiration Or book covers of old favorites or books I plan to read Or photos of imaginary trips with notes about how I imagine going there
This is awesome 😍🥰 I’m going to start now and probably watch this a few times! Can anyone recommend a hashtag that I can follow for ideas on Instagram? 🧡🧡
YES Heather!!..please start up memory planning like this again. 🙏 I miss your memory planning too lol. You were one of my favorites.
Oh please, please, PLEASE resume your memory planning!!! I absolutely love watching you create your memory planning pages and learn so much from you!!! You are one of my favorites FOR SURE!!
Please Please Please start memory keeping again!!!! You are such a GREAT inspiration!!!!!!
The new big Mickey and Minnie vertical has inspired me to start memory planning. Gonna start in July!

I’m so glad I saw this. I’m just starting to memory plan and this video is a big help. Thanks!
This is such a great video. I feel like you took us through your life during that year xxxx

I have both of the Sprockets and I love them. They are so easy to use. Thank you for the tips.

I used to memory plan too, and I loved watching this! I think I’m going to try to get back into memory planning too! Thank you for sharing!
Love this video and your memory planning playlist ! Lots of great inspiration. ✨ I just received a Selphy printer for my birthday. Looking forward to getting started.
I love memory planning! You should start again as I would love some new ideas!! 🧡🧡🧡🧡
To make time - i integrate photo journal task once or twice a month - along with organizing and cleaning up photos on phone
Integrate that photo maintenance with phone backup and syncing - never used to do that but since I began planning I do those once a week
I use transfer to Walgreens as further winnowing of photos important to me
Plan and integrate Walgreens pickup with other shopping there / close by
Walgreens ALWAYS has a big coupon Which means I don’t feel bad only using a subset of what’s printed- which is already a subset of all photos on phone for the month
Once or twice a month I PLAN FOR and select key photos from Walgreens batch
If hardly any time I use MAMBI punch to pop them into photo journal planner
If a little more time I create new pages with scrapbook paper and use combination of gluing, washi flips ,and hole punching to create my MONTHLY photo journal
Minimal hand written notes sometimes
It’s not fancy
Some pages cuter than others
I use big planners I got for 70 percent off in February at micheals
I recycle the happy planner pages in various ways - usually as backing for scrapbook paper
Though sometimes just glue photos to those planner pages
Sometimes collage bits of cute stuff around the blank spots
Mainly use the month tabs and cover for this
I use the big rings
I made a punched scrapbook pocket where I save off photos not used
I use those photos various other times in hand written cards, bulletin board, and .... I just end up using some of them
This year I needed two of these discount planners Even with big rings
This once or twice a month project gets it done, is very satisfying, helps a lot with overall photo maintenance
And I really enjoy flipping through
Btw I never used to enjoy keeping photo albums
Keep Polaroid zip for occasional sticker in my weekly or monthly Catch all planner
Sticker printer takes a lot more time per photo
My catch all planner is spiral bound
I am just starting memory planning myself love it! 🧡
Love this. So glad to see it. Thanks, Wendy
I’m going to put a memory planner together for my mom for Xmas. It won’t be just one year but over a long time. 🧡
That’s a good idea to add a page in I’m hopefully going on vacation to Dollywood in November and gonna be having a lot of pictures from that week
I love this video and I want to start. Now to find a BIG planner!
Thank you, I enjoyed this!
I love Memory planning. I am soooo far behind. I need to just put the pics in and not worry about perfection. 😕
Your memory planner looks fantastic.
Very inspiring. I love your spreads.
I know this is an old video but I had an idea for the monthly as well. There used to be a challenge on IG and FB with monthly photo challenges. Just a food for thought ideas
Girlllll im so sad you stopped memory planning tooooo....i cant wait for you to get back into it
I'm curious as to how you made the special page shown at 7:40 in the video? Thanks
Have you ever used the canon ivy printer? It's like an hp sprocket.. I love canon cameras so I was wondering if you had any experience with the ivy since you like the selphy
Heather can you please explain to me the ad process and how you get paid for it? Do I have to click on it or just watch it 🤔
We get paid for both- more money if you click the ad, but just watching it pays us too. Skipping it means $0
@@kellofaplan Thanks that helps me help you 😊
@@kellofaplan Good to know
Is this a memory planning planner? Or just a Classic sized? Big sized? What planner size do I need to buy in order to be able to print my photos on a 4x6 and have them fit perfectly? Thanks
You need a big planner, the memory planner line is the size of the big happy planner :)
I’m hoping to do my Grandaughter s new 4H season in a memory planner
Do you use expander discs on your memory planner. Because i am memory planning now for 3months and my classic discs seem to small already 🤔
Never mind, heard your answer already on the end of the video 🤭
I'm bad too for the last few years. But I'm going to ask my family for Christmas to get me one of those printers. Hope Santa is good to me. :0)
Very Nice 👍
You said this is a ‘Big’ planner. What size are the memory planning planners? What is the difference?
julie curry They are the same size. The memory planners just have a tiny bit different format and some extra pages. They don’t seem to make them anymore either, so the big planner is a good substitute.
Anyone know the collage sizing for the classic planner? I just got the canon Selphy but not sure how to size to fit perfectly in a Classic planner.
I'd love to know the size to fit in the mini as well! My granddaughter and I are working on hers! Just scored a BIG memory planner so planning to start my own (for the first time) in January! Yikes!!
What camera did you use?
TARYN KIM WESTOVER my iPhone!
How would I memory plan with pictures and I don't have any dates. Some are older pics and some are about four years old. Mainly of my Mom who passed four years ago.
I wouldn't worry about the dates in that case, maybe do a special page by occasion or just memories of your mom in general.
I feel like I don’t do enough throughout the week to have a “week spread” if that makes sense
I just wrote comment about how I do monthly photo journaling
Maybe that helps?
Do you have hobbies? For example I admire flowers in various gardens and other public settings
I photograph those and sometimes use the free iNaturalist app to identify names I don’t know
Flowers really fill out a blank month
Or sewing projects
Or sewing inspiration
Or book covers of old favorites or books I plan to read
Or photos of imaginary trips with notes about how I imagine going there
I moved to the skinny classic this year 1. to help keep up and 2. make it not so overwhelming. Still haven't caught up but it's a goal
Oh I get it!
I thought you meant you did not have ENOUGH to journal bout
You meant the opposite !!!
This is awesome 😍🥰 I’m going to start now and probably watch this a few times! Can anyone recommend a hashtag that I can follow for ideas on Instagram? 🧡🧡
