- This was my solo Couchsurfing adventure in Lisbon, Portugal. Like I said in the video, I always wanted to visit Lisbon, and this April I finally got to see the capital city of beautiful Portugal. This trip was the beginning of my solo backpacking adventure in Europe and I was utterly excited to start my journey! I hope you enjoy the video 😊

Once again an excellent travelogue... sharing a nice sense of the place from a charming and personal point of view. It's an interesting line to tread but I think of you more of a traveler than a tourist... in that you always attempt to get "under the skin" of a place. Cheers!

lovely vlog. I like the way you shoot and edit, especially the bit with the tiles and the choice of music is very suitably picked overall. Portugal is at the top of my Travel List as well (also I have a bit of a Nata-Addiction)...Hamburg has a big Portuguese community, so you can get varieties of them (besides the classic)...Lately, I've gotten into Daytrips in a 3hour range of Hamburg (because I had to feet some cats in the evenings and couldn't stay for longer). I ended up visiting Lübeck with Raoul (my second time but first time with him) and Schwerin (with its majestic castle and massive garden) as well as Rostock, yesterday. I vlogged it all but haven't had the time to edit yet. Tomorrow, I'm headed out to Travemünde by a recommendation... (-: Then I'll keep it cool until Georgia! I love traveling Solo as well! Write me on annasculpts if you have an idea what we could collaborate on..Can we make a guest appearance of some sort on your channel and vice versa? Maybe we could integrate you into a scene of some sort... For example: you're renting out houses and flats and we call in and ask in Georgian...how many rooms, does it have, how big is it etc...or something else along those lines... and we would link you and vice versa. We could make a small segment for your channel, let us know what we could do for you...Maybe something travel related?

I definitely want to revisit Portugal one day. It’s one of the few places that has given me this feeling of overwhelming joy, happiness and growth. But then I think, what if I see things in a different light this time and those memories and feelings are overshadowed by disappointment? But then what if I love it even more and make new memories and see and learn about the things I missed? Anyway 😅 I’m feeling these Portugal vlogs extra special
I know what you’re saying. I had kind of similar experience in Madrid. That city played a huge role in my life and I admired everything about it what I was 20. When I went back this year nothing felt similar and I did feel a bit of disappointment. However, the streets and buildings and restaurants awoke asleep memories which made me smile many times. So idk it can be both I guess.
P.S. I remember you and Rob doing a little presentation of your trip to Portugal. When I was in Sintra I remembered all you pictures lol. I was like, Oh, Elene and Rob were here 😅😅

Massive white stone sculptured bow of a carabelle with 33 Portuguese seafarers (Magellan et al). Across from it on the other shore of the Tagus there is a replica of the Corcovado Christ.
