Death Star certainly had an ...Interesting solution to the JAT and Darksaber's issues of what we were SHOWED of Daala and what we were TOLD about her past.
Before I watch this I just want to say this is my all time favorite Legends story, and it’s not the writing. The narrated version by Christopher Hurt was a staple of my childhood and I’ve relistened to it like 7 times. Aside, I grew to want to see a movie of this. The character interactions are peak Star Wars humor, it’s tense at the right times, and honestly man, to see Motti’s POV was so great. Truly a favorite, I personally recommend it.
The whole book unfolds like act 1 of an old school disaster movie, where you meet all the disparate characters w/their petty backstories, but since the “disaster” on the Death Star is instant, there’s nowhere for act 1 to go.
I remember reading this book in battery park. Not a great read, but some of the characters were memorable. EDIT: as for Dalaa, my issue with her character is Kevin J Anderson's writing. Not a big fan of his story telling and he made her a joke for some reason that doesn't really make sense for her being the rank she is.

I had no idea this book existed. Interesting. I'm currently reading Med star II I like Uli so far.
