fan iruntha athu than convection.. you can bake, select the right bottom mode in your model.. it shows top heating and fan. So that is what convection and you can bake in that mode.
Can we use any kind of ceramics ?? For eg , nowadays the vessels of ceramic dinnerset are kept unused except the dinner plates .. so can we use those dinnerset bowls and plates??
Yes you can use in microwave mode, but it should not have metal lining or any substances like metal, aluminium etc.. But better to use if mentioned microwave safe, or Oven safe. If microwave safe, you can use for microwave oven, if it is oven safe then you cannot use for microwave. If you have any doubts please let me know.

Hi..Ramya I bought IFB 30 frc2.. and tried baking cake three times with different timings and different temperatures.. but with all three tries , I could get undercooked cake at the bottom.. and overcooked at the top.. Heater is at top, if you place the pan directly in the turn table, bottom will not get the proper heat. So place the wire rack and keep the pan over that.. check the temperature using thermometer, because IFB is not heating properly.. pre heat manually for 15 minutes..

Convection is really work out or not mam... I have tried baking a cake more in convection.. once the time is reached it tooth pick is clearly come out from cake.. once let to cool.. it looks like not cook inside and lower side. I fed up a lot mam. And whether I need to place the bake tin over the wired track given by them or just place in a rotating glass. I have ifb 20sc2 20L.
Try to buy an oven thermometer, IFB is never accurate, it will beep in 3 minutes, but when you check the thermometer, heated only 20%. So buy a oven thermometer and check the temperature. Or else, preheat it for 10 to 15 minutes, Then place the cake batter.. You can keep the wire rack, while baking.. LG, and samsung, are accurate than the IFB.

Hi sis, please mention your proper model name or number, I hope you are using the solo microwave. If it is solo microwave, then you cannot preheat it. And you dont even need it.. Thanks..
Solo oven has only microwave. No heating coil. No need to preheat. you can't bake in solo microwave oven. You can reheat the food, defrost, and boil vegitable, cook the rice, idly making.

If I use small wire rack top portion gets burnt and hard. If placed direct glass rotating, it comes almost perfect
