i hate how many times i been sold out by teammates in chase. feels like every game someone runs to me while i'm on gen or almost done w a gen and someone leads the killer to me and they focus me now and i get caged over it and die. i can complain a lot about this game mode. like how the pallets don't even save you half the time or even prompt the 'drop pallet' button when they're on you or how far their reach is when you do drop a pallet or jump a window. you almost always get hit so why even use pallets or vault unless you drop it ahead of time. also the killer perks are so broken, i know they only get two but the i keep seeing the same killers all day - huntresses, wraith, and trapper. no one plays hillbilly or nurse hardly. Then there are the games where no one does gens at all and just want to heal or save from cages, and the amount of people who use the escapist class and can't loop for shit. i feel like i loop better w/o it and only use the medic class. the game mode drives me crazy but like you said i play it for the blood points. tried to play the killer twice waiting in a 20 minute lobby and end up just switching back to survivor cause the wait time is atrocious. i liked the idea of 2v8 but the execution of it is kind of bad. i feel like the only reason people are saying to keep 2v8 is cause its something new.
i think the main issue with the mode is it relies heavily on having friends to play with. i do, so its been great for me, but i understand why people would be upset. plus the solo queue survivor teammates are usually new players n are genuinely horrible at the game, getting killed quickly in chase. as a killer, lots of survivors tend to be rlly toxic and try to just make u chase them the whole game, but the idea of tunneling one person is a game losing idea so i usually have to unfortunately proxy gen camp to make sure i can get a lock on everything since i dont play killer that much
i think another reason is that there’s no skill mmr and that there’s not 10 gens and there isn’t hooks, i’d like to see dbd but actually just X2 instead of a game mode and it wouldn’t have to be worked on only bigger maps and more gens and hooks and stuff

They should have let us play against AI bots with a killer friend.
