The North American eighth generation #HondaAccord is a mid-size car introduced for the 2008 model year. It is also marketed in parts of Asia and as the Honda Inspire in Japan. The North American version of the #Accord has a different body from its Japanese counterpart. This shape is sold as the #Honda Inspire in Japan, and is not sold in Europe. It was discontinued in Japan in September 2012.

Its not an american car first of all, its a Japanese brand and a car made by a Japanese company which was launched in various parts of the world including N.A market, Asian markets, south asian markets so its not just an american car, so pls get your facts straight before giving info lakhs of people

1) As i have 2.4 manual, I usually get around 8 city and 11/12 highway if driven with light foot. But if u want to have some fun, be prepared for awfully low 7/8kmpl... That I Vtec engine is quite a guzzler but than that buttery smooth nd amazingly revv happy(redlines@6800RPM) petrol mill with that typical Vtec bassy growl which is a music for any petrolhead, it accelerates like crazy, giving u that push to the seat feeling and alarmingly wild torque steer. Throttle response is very sharp so one has to be cautious...
2) Parts are very easily available and they are rather cheap for this class of a car. Annual general service costs me surprisingly cheap 5500 bucks or thereabouts. After sales support is truly premium, and staffs are courteous...
3) One big downer of this sedan is that it is bare bones in terms of gadgets nd features. Heck, u dont even get DTE, real time mileage, average fuel consumption, bluetooth... And the worst part is that aux compatibility is only through iOS devices(I hve Android device).
Overall though the pros of this car outweighs the cons(mainly lack of features expected at the price point). And u should go ahead and drive home this beauty, you certainly going to enjoy indulging urself in the lap of luxury offered by this barge coupled with straight line rocket like performance.

If you are considering buying this car, few things to watch out for are:
Suspension bushings (especially front)
Engine mounting
Engine gasket leak
Power steering rack leak
Minor electronic issues such as interior lights
Alternator
Radiator (cooling pump)
Temperature sensor
I've had to replace all these parts in my 2009 accord. I've spent a huge amount close to 2 lacs now, but no complaints. I love the car.
If you are passionate, go ahead and buy this elegant beauty. If you're not committed and are a miser who watches expenses, then don't buy this car.
Speaking of expenses, the mileage I get is around 6kmpl in city (without AC), about 4 with AC and 9 on highway.

I have a Honda Accord 2012 which is very similar to this one and it's my favorite car of all time. I have even driven newer cars but there's nothing like the build quality of this car! Highly recommend.

@@supercoolguygamer9239 practically no maintenance cost. But if the car is over 7-10 years old ( which is in these days) parts wear and tear will require replacement. Then it's becomes too expensive.

Don't go for cheap.. go for a car with honda service records.. jo bhi 2010 ke samay 30-35 lakh mein kharida hoga.. sadak ke kinaare service nahi karwaata hoga..
Agar maintained hai toh maintainance normal lagega.. bahar karaoge toh 6 hazaar max.. honda mein karaoge toh 10k max.. every 7000 km.. har mahine 1500 maintainance ke naam pe gullak mein daal den.. but koi part kharaab hua toh dikkat.. 50k-1 lakh waali dikkat..
So always look at the condition of the car before buying..

There are no 3.4L variant for sale (used). A lot of 2.4L variant are for sale (used), though.
