India has to take a tough stand against China. India should reject one China policy and be vocal about it, even Aksai Chin should be reclaimed along with Tibet.
The Tsangpo becomes the Brahmaputra, but most of Brahmaputra's water comes from 20 other tributaries; the biggest being the Lohit which rises in Myanmar and large numbers of rivers which rise in Bhutan. Huge amounts of seasonal water are also generated form the monsoons in the North East of India and drains into the Brahmaputra.

India should continue to strengthen its economy, create and complete necessary development projects in the mainland and Northeastern region. Support both small and large scale industries. Fast track defense projects for all three branches of the armed forces. Only then we can be both offensive and defensive against China and other future threats militarily and economically and we should be.
Indian Chinese & western agents always protest and delays all such projects leading to massive delays & costs.
