The Basque region also includes parts of France and possibly Andorra (not 100% sure on the last one), so if this challenge is ever done again it’d be cool if you do those 2 countries too (yes, I know the cheat engine would be needed for Andorra)

Athletic club Bilbao are only allowed to sign players from the Spanish Basque region and from the French Basque region. However their rivals Real Sociedad used to have the same transfer policy but for them it didn’t work out that well so they dropped the policy and so they started signing international players, like they’re still doing to this day.

I will note some things as i see them (informative):
- we sign players born or grown in clubs within our region.
- Griezmann went to Real Sociedad really young so he is elegible
- i understand that most of the world knows us as Bilbao, but actually that is not even in our name. It is only Athletic Club. If you want you can say Athletic Bilbao obviously, but we do not call it this way. And PLEASE DO NOT CALL US BILBAO ONLY, at least Athletic.
-our region (Euskal herria, where basque is spoken), also has parts of france, very small though
-the europa league you won 2 years into the rebuild ( 9:41 ) was played in our stadium, san mames!

But…if I can say it’s very frustrating when you have players who should be on the bench for simulations just wasted in the reserves 😭 maybe do a rebuild and whichever position you buy a player for you also have to buy their back up? It’ll mean you have a strong bench and also makes budgeting what you spend a bit more challenging👍🏼

You should do a Richmond career mode, where you bring in regens and players that are just like a legend like Mbappe and Henry. Build a team around Tartt and retire Kent and make him manager.

Hey Cani! You have to do a QPR rebuild. One of the biggest falloff’s in recent history in the championship.
I love Bilbao's transfer policy, people say that it's "exclusive" but it preserve their identity and culture and it benefits the locals. It gives the people a real home feeling that the club is theirs so I love it. As a Barca fan Bilbao has also been one of the few teams in La Liga that we get a long with so I wish them nothing but the best.
I still remember when you did a Career Mode with them back in the day and you hated Mikel San Jose! Who else remembers?

Would be great if you do a 2 UCL winning rebuild video like this again, maybe take an aging club like Sevilla/Liverpool or a club with immense debt like Barca, win one UCL with them, then sell all the main squad players that season.
Then take the 70-80 rated youth academy players, and win another UCL with the kids. That way both the youth and the main squad will be highlighted. Thanks for another awesome video. 👍

And what's good to know is that you could've also sent a scout to France since the Basque region includes parts of southern France as well which would've given you more player options

Try to rebuild bvb2, they have incredible talents! And you can take it to the next level and only make transfers from the bundesliga (Arne Engles, Tom Rothe, Morey, Luca Netz, Adeyemi, Lukebakio, Baku,...)
