Thanks for your VR Sundays Kie. You’re one of the few great ones to do it regularly. I exclusively race GT7 in VR now and I’ve suffered those shortcomings in terms of race info. We need the advocacy.
I race almost exclusively in VR now on GT7, even though you get robbed of some of the data during a race. The immersion is worth the trade off. I'll agree with you that the single biggest difference is the elevation changes. It's amazing how severe they are compared to a flat screen. I've noticed you have to modify your brake markers on some tracks too in VR.
I understand for streaming VR is not ideal. Since I got mine, I always use it and am now struggling to race on a flat screen...the one I have 20 years experience on. I can't even bear racing on my other favourite games ACC,.and F1. In a way VR has ruined gaming for me. Good job I love GT7
PD could provide the option to map the necessary race info to the wheel so it can be toggled on/off. I'm enjoying the new VR and weekly review videos Kie. Nice work!
This race has been fantastic in VR this week. I got the Genesis this week as well for this race and it might my favorite so far, in terms of the cockpit view. Awesome video bro! Glad you enjoyed it!
Would be amazing if GT7 integrated crew chief to communicate race data. Would actually contribute to the immersion and serve a useful purpose (e.g. telling me when people pit and pace deltas)
Physics are the same but the perspection is different in cockpit vs bumper/roof... I tested all 3 and I feel the most stable when I'm in cockpit as I can kind of sense the speed i'm going and see the suspension working so I'm not slamming it when I see the car shaking which I cannot see at all with bumper/roof view. The only downside to cockpit view (non VR) is you can't see much and have to rely on "knowing" car is next to you and such. I kind of am trying to just drive inside cockpit and will try to see how far I can go but I like it so much more as I can sense what's happening with the car where as with the bumper/roof view I'm more of predicting how it will react. Can't wait to get VR2 to see how will I feel driving with it.
all that data on the screen "gears, times, other car names" totally spoils the vr buzz, i turn all of that off and just race. looks so much better without it
I’m completely addicted to racing in VR.
Same. It's amazing stuff.
Me too it’s so good
Same here 🤩
Since PSVR2 was released, I didn‘t use my monitor in GT7 once. Just too good!

The Kie Lean is real in VR

Im not usually the jealous type but its a whole different story when it comes VR on GT7 looks absolutely amazing
Genesis is definitely one of my favorite cars. Both group 3 and 4.
In VR
I agree. This car feels great. Awesome sense of speed and power.
More VR... This is way more enjoyable to watch from this prospective.
Thanks for the vid, was nice racing you
Best wishes, the Hungarian driver :)
Absolutely loving these vr videos, it’s amazing to race in I won’t race any other way on gt 7 now
The only way i play. Im getting soooo close to DR A, thanks for your track guides, i couldnt achive my progress without it.

Great content. I wish they’d add an option for more race info. I understand the push for immersion but at least give the option!

That’s all great but in a competitive situation you need that info just like real life you would have a engineer for all that info 👍
1rd!
