Tek shouldn't play a game we plan to use the highline, he's not used to it, i would like to see him in games against smaller teams until he gets used to it or the games we don't use the highline cuz inaki pena is much better coming out of the box
Glad you are picking up on the Lamine issues in the final 3rd. I want to lock him in a room and show him messi clips and how to be effective and efficient rather than entertaining. He sometimes makes things too complicated and defenders can suss out if he is going for the shot or the low cross from the by line. He is so young though and there is plenty of time to fix thise instances of poor decision making.
On another curious note. What happened to Valencia man, they were so poor in this match it was hard to celebrate some of the goals. Like on many occasions I saw the left CB pulling out of position for absolutely no reason towards Yamal who was already marked by the full back opening up space for a through ball. It's games like this where I wonder if actually the other team came to lose on purpose. It was hard to watch I clicked out after 6 goals. Of course they improved a bit in the second half but still not good enough
Ferran should’ve had a poker but he played good and lamine needs to work on his shooting in general but other than that he had flashes of Neymar, cubarsi is nasty.
Flick punished Pena for getting late (more than once) at the training sessions. Flick doesn't accept lack of punctuality - not even 1 minute - regardless of who the player is (happened to Kounde too)

@@Jakobmyershowareyou To me Szczesny is a lot more shaky than Pena. Sure, he's a good shot stopper, but he's a much worse sweeper (very important in a high line system) and his passing is awful. But Flick said that he noticed that Barcelona didn't lose one game with him defending. Which is all that matters at the end of the day.
Eric is a way better defender with the ball. Araujo is better physically but barely better in defensive transitions. His pace and power covers up his cracks in many cases Deal with it.

Araujo keeps it simple on the ball which is more than good enough when he’s paired w a strong ball player like cubarsi/inigo. The reason why he will always remain our best CB is because no other player at the club is even half as fast, strong, or solid defensively as Araujo is and those are the things you need most from a defender on the pitch, not a ton of pretty and fancy passes. Deal with it.
