- With last year's Ford Maverick targeted at light-duty and first-time pickup buyers, the all-new 2024 Ford Ranger midsize pickup nuzzles a bit closer to the full-size F-150 in terms of performance, capability, and cabin comfort.
The 2024 Ranger distills the number of body configurations to the most popular four-door crew-cab/short-bed offering, bolstering its appeal with greater passenger space, upgraded cabin materials, and updated technology.
At the same time, the new Ranger gets its first high-performance Raptor model in the U.S., complete with a 405-horsepower twin-turbo V6, wide-body stance, long-travel suspension, and the largest-ever 33-inch Ranger all-terrain tires.
Unlike the previous-generation Ranger, which was adapted from a simpler model sold in Southeast Asia and other global markets, the 2024 Ranger was designed from the start for the North American market. It has all of the Ford Tough features and design cues that have helped make the F-150 the best-selling vehicle (car or truck) in the U.S. for more than four decades.
The new Ranger arrives at a time when buyer interest in midsize pickup trucks is at its highest level in decades, with the recently redesigned Nissan Frontier, Chevrolet Colorado, and GMC Canyon, plus the new-generation Toyota Tacoma all vying for sales.

These mid sized pickups are getting out of control price wise
The entry-level XL 4x2 model starts at $34,265 (including a $1,595 destination fee).
Then don't buy one.

🎯 all the mandatory luxury items for profit just creates inflation for what are essentially emotional support vehicles in the suburbs.
There's a reason why Ford is quiet about its Maverick (and no PHEV/EV), the raptors and F150s are simply more profitable.
All Vehicles on all levels are out of control price wise.
Your quotes website does not have ‘Ford’ as an option on the drop down menu. So cannot use to search raptor pricing in my area. Odd.

Ford, what's so difficult about an AWD diff locking Maverick hybrid/PHEV/EV?
We dont get the sensible Maverick here in Europe but every boss and their son are rolling around in 3.6l V6 Raptor trophy trucks with their depreciation written off the company's tax each year.

the f150 raptor is much, much better looking
More good news.....This can be had for a few thousand more than a TRD Offroad and about 10K less than the TRD Pro

I am getting 18-19 and even hit 20 mpg the other day and I am only running 87 octane
@chrisdriner my tuck has a 2.5 lift. Display says I'm averaging 19 and change. I knew that wasn't accurate so I calculated the old fashion way. Reality is much lower. I'm curious if you calculated the old fashion way? Best I've got was 15 babying it on 91
I didn’t figure it. However I watch some reviews and they found manual was same as what was reported so I think it is accurate.
