@@patriciakiley6551 I have also booked a performance in Tokyo next March! I'm looking forward to it now and can't help but look forward to it! I'm waiting excitedly every day! Punk rock is the best! STRUNG OUT is the best!
I miss RJs drumming, new guy is ok, but RJs is well turbo charged! I felt they played tighter with RJ which makes the guitars sound better. RJs drumming is so tight live!
@@lukerobinson87 he was good in the studio and even live at times. However once protools came and bands started quantising their drums so their timing was perfect on recordings, this was expected live too. It’s tough but Jordan’s drumming now looked sloppy instead of raw. Modern drummers like RJ always play live with aim to have perfect timing, which gives the performance a polished element just like in the studio recording.
I was at this show, love strung out but the vocals weren't great. I'm seeing them tonight, the first time since this. Bummed about Jake not being here.
I guess it's what I should expect from a Strung Out concert: amazing musicianship, sloppy singing, and the same set list they've been playing for 20 years. Seriously, Twisted by Design was a good album, but it doesn't need to be half the show.
For real. The last show at thornville was so disappointing. I've seen some very good shows from them over the years, even short opener sets. But Jordan left, Jake is gone and Strung Out is not the same anymore. You're 100% correct, I can't count how many times they opened & closed with too close to see and matchbook. Glad I saw them in their prime.
Bass sounds great. I'm afraid the Strung Out I grew up with is dead. Sry to say but Jordan's shoes can never be filled. We've had a lot of great times over 25 years. I'll still be in the front row when they come around.
The Punk look is missing in modern bands. Mohawk, colored hair, spiked bracelets, ripped pants... The punk look is something striking that cannot be lost over time.
What a fun day this was, good times!🤘🏼
Bass sounds so Great. Firecracker at 25:07 Wow fucking insane.
Yes. Jake (my son) used to tear that song Firecracker up too far SO fired him after 31 years of blood, sweat and devotion 3:04 3:05
Please come to Japan as soon as possible!
I'm waiting, I'm waiting, I'm waiting!
Jake will be there in Japan with his new band, the Gimmes on tour in mid-November!

Jordan burns was the best drummer this band has had imo
Totally agree with you he was a big loss for Strung Out

Agreed, bass was the highlight of the whole show.
Shankle was amazing! But now he’s gone too, so I have to agree.
Yes... Jake, my son, is gone too ! After 31 years of blood, sweat and devotion!!😢
🔥🔥🍻
Absolutely fabulous show!! fuck gods!! 🤘🔥
I hope Jake ain't gone permanently those line up changes are getting a bit too frequent.
Maybe sorry to say but Jake is totally gone. He's now touring with his new band the Gimmes. Check them out on tour !!🎉
Has anyone ever seen a pit go clockwise? Please release their Thornville shows.
Seriously. I missed that shit waiting in line for a burrito 🤦🏻♂️

Bom demaisssss, só esse cd novo deles que tá uma BOSTA
Concordo
what a fuck
Turn the bass down Chris!
The Band is always so good but live the singer always sucks and is out of tune.
too bad they suck now
I wouldn't say they suck the band is still tight but Jason is not getting any better with age, it's unfortunate but time gets us all.
Nice drums with huge Qs on them. WWG1WGA
Nope
