What I've noticed about TH-cam is that channels that really helps don't have a lot of subscribers, if not you should have over 100k subs by now. A lot of beginner developers are watching fake gurus that will be lying to them. Since I've discovered your channel, I've unfollowed a lot of fake gurus teaching web dev. What you teach for free on TH-cam I've made me better than some of the people that started this journey before me. Thank you christian🙏
Yeah, I stopped at the intermediate javascript section and tried to get a job with a weather app and a mortgage loan calulator. I never even got an interview. After that I gave up and have been working blue collar jobs ever since. I'm just going to start over from scratch and follow this plan.
Great video Cristian ! Lots of valuable information here. Its great to see a simple breakdown of a reasonable roadmap to get into web development. A lot of people love to over complicate this process but you nailed it. Love your videos.
Appreciate your videos. This video isn't relevant to me since I am in the data science field, but I've been struggling to get interviews so I took your advice and started my own company and said I have been working there for over a year as a data scientist. Now I'm applying to mid and senior roles since they have a bit less competition. We'll see how it goes. By the way, do you tailor your resume to each job application? I've been trying this now, it's pretty annoying but just hitting the apply button with a generic resume never worked for me before.
I already switched to web dev, in particular I work as backend developer (PHP, Laravel, Docker Composre, Kubernetrs, Js, Go, etc) for 1 year and 5 months for payment company. But the reason I am writing this is low salary. How to make a switch to a better paying job, for instance remote job for US company?
@@cristian-florea-coding not technically for fun sorry for using that term...I am studying Software development so I would like to sharpen my skill since I'd like to do front-end dev...please share any link I can go to
It’s the same, build backends for frontend apps. Find someone that is interested in learning frontend and build with them. It’s gonna be hard, but worth a shot
all these youtube gurus pushing self taught python/kindergarden web dev without ever passing an interview themselves or building anything other than a weather app

Thanks for this. I'm on Step 7 and 8. Great confirmation for me that I'm on the right track. Been on it for about a year so far.
Just curious, were the process successful? Did u get a job within months?
@@bndissanayaka process is still ongoing. Currently doing an internship. Started a month ago March. Optimistic about getting my first job this year.
@@traezeeofor Oh good then 🙂🙂

yeah took me 2 years of college understarding this is the path LOL
I actually LOL at 2:31. Thanks it made my day. And being a frontend developer I have never thought about HTML and CSS in such a way.😅
Great tips......right on the money in this era of huge job requirements, mounting competition, and the advancement of AI!
I dont like Tailwind since it pollutes the markup.
But since it is a market-able skill, I've considered learning it regardless.
Thanks 🙏 I am on the phase 6
This Channel is a hidden Gem!Consider me a student
The title should be, 8 Frameworks for all developers. Thanks for this video ❤
Very helpful video, man! Thank you

no, I don;t...

Get a visa
@@cristian-florea-coding its easier said than done. How? Tpurist visa? Only US visa?
Work visa I suppose. I’m qualified to tell you what visa you should get mate
@@cristian-florea-coding first I need to find a job there? And then after working for some time remotely start a visa process...?
Best is to find someone who did it
where can you apply to jobs?
When you say theory, are you referring to data structures and algorithms?
Not only
It says no times available in November but November just started?
why did you choose react over angular or view or next?
Number of jobs/popularity
This seems like one of the few no bullshit and honest TH-camrs that wants to actually help
Thnkz alot iam on step 7 and 8
let's see, show your work
What about Angular instead of React?
I don;t think anything, if angular is more popular than react in your area, then learn it
great video.
Great Video! how can I get in touch with you? I'm at varsity but i'd be happy to also do something on the side to gain some knowledge.
I don;t work with people that do stuff on the side, you can use codecademy for that homie
