Very good interview.. its good to hear testimony like this and see the joy and gratefulness coming from answered prayer. At the same time though it can be frustrating to hear particularly when your own experience is one of constant going round in circles chasing your tail, with zero answes regardless of how much u pray,

Never been but I heard from Protestant people that it is a big gift shop. I remain open minded on Medjugorje

Definitely there are a lot of shops, but nobody forces anyone to go into these shops. The locals were very poor (communist poor, a whole other level of poor) and without a doubt this has brought prosperity to this little town.
But it did not spoil the town. The locals still flock to Mass and there are as many confessionals for locals as there is for all languages.
When you understand what the people in this are did to retain their faith, you will see These people in a very different light.
Medgugorje is a very special place.
