    Awesome video man it great to see someone actually try out stuff from wish and not just completely bash the site for some people it's all they can afford and you also have to remember you get what you pay for. Think it would be kind of cool video if you tried out there rods and reels etc to see if they handle NZ trout

    I’m on my 3rd season with the same pair of waders from Aliexpress. Have had to repair a few holes with the patch kit and UV glue. They certainly don’t have all the bells and whistles as the more expensive pairs and the fit may not suit everyone but they work fine for me and I could afford a second pair for when my first pair eventually die.

    Hi Gareth, good fishing and an excellent demo on the waders. Buying fishing wearable gear without trying it on is asking for trouble. Now if your left foot was a size 9 and your right foot a size 14 you would have struck lucky, but your balls would still be under pressure. Stick to the brand sold at your local store and they will look after you. Cheers mate. Harera

    Would always love to see the flies you put on or the 'egg' you choose. and if you use droppers or not etc. Another awesome thing to know in your vids description is the google maps location for some of these spots. As a novice fly fisher from wellington, knowing where to go for 'back country' fishing and planning some trips would be really helpful. Love the vids, keep em coming

    Well glad to see NZ trout act the same as North Carolina trout... absolutely no love for natural stuff... tie on a dry dropper with a yellow stimulator and a san juan worm or egg sac and you catch every one in the river... its ridiculous and makes me wonder why I spent money and time on the other stuff.

  • @wennethkilson786

    The durability of items shopped off of Wish is pretty trash. I'm too poor to buy cheap. I'd rather save up and spend more money once than a little money over and over and over, replacing things because they don't last. Sorry about your camera. Hope it dries out without issue.

  • @GeorgeSemel
    @GeorgeSemel 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Well like a lot of things you get what you pay for. Those look like cheap Simm's knock-offs from China to me. I am broke most of the time so whatever I do buy has to be durable at least. Those look like they will not last more than a few weeks of hard fishing. If it's all you can afford then made due. Carry a patch kit with you.

    I've had a pair of their pants and boots for a year or so. They keep me dry but, like you, the boots are too big and the legs a bit tight. Pretty annoying in the snow, the boots built up snow on the bottom constantly. So, grabbed a pair of Patagonias in some covid lockdown shopping. Boots still pretty loose. I have a feeling I might end up in the Simms! Boots seem a hassle, would be interested in your views on boots and studs?? Loving your videos. Helping to keep us sane in the lockdowns. Cheers PP
