I was listening to Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Dinah Washington, Etta James, etc. around 1960-67. In the interview with Heidi Klum prior to Angelina's AGT audition with "Bohemian Rhapsody," she told Heidi that she won Norway's Got Talent when she was 7. After listening to her AGT audition, I immediately searched TH-cam for any of Angelina's NGT performances. As soon as she started singing this song, I closed my eyes to listen. I was so blown away that I actually expected to see Billie Holiday standing on that stage when I opened my eyes again! I was hooked!
Goosebumps Shivers and warm loving feeling is the standard reaction for most all of us listening to Angelina Jordan Astar no matter what song, genre or style She always gives you heart warming rendition of that song with perfection and lots of love.
You have become a member of the Angelina Jordan Goose Bump Squad. I discovered Angelina in 2017 and have become addicted to hearing her voice. I never go a day without listening to Angelia. Listening to her is the best medicine there is. Her voice has a healing affect on those that listen to her sing.
This is pretty much a straight rendition of the Billie Holiday original, so well achieved that you can feel Billie's passion as she sings. Angelina is here following in the footsteps of her idol and one of the greats of jazz, which is the best way to begin the journey to superstardom. You should check out Billie Holiday, she really is the Queen of Jazz (although Angelina is catching up!)
I have followed A from first appearance on Norways got talent talent in 2014 - then 7 - now 18. You have a long and joyfull ride in front of you. She is unique at all ages.
"Gloomy Sunday" (Hungarian: Szomorú Vasárnap), also known as the "Hungarian Suicide Song", is a popular song composed by Hungarian pianist and composer Rezső Seress and published in 1933.Billie Holiday singing Gloomy Sunday 1i 1941 - - th-cam.com/video/XQ2AuLaClmk/w-d-xo.html
You can see her live in LA 12.14.2024! I seen her live and she sounds better. Love from Norway!

The way she taps into the emotion intended inthe song.
My favorite of hers is her newest release, the piano diaries version of Bad Valentine. I really hope she makes a jazz album soon.
You MUST watch that!! It's breathtaking!!

You should listen to Billie Holiday's version of this song. You will be amazed at how much Angelina sounds like her at the age of 7.
🦘🇦🇺. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
AJ, in my mind, doesn't cover Adele's songs; she completes them.
