One guy, his guitar, and a couple of loop pedals = far better than all other "live performances" filled with gimmicks, dancers and backup tracks. Ed, you're a genius and you absolutely nailed this. Much respect.
Watching Ed Sheeran perform "Bloodstream" at these awards shows is almost like a religious experience. He slayed at the Brits and again at the BBMA's. He has me mesmerised every time. Lol! @ Taylor Swift at the end whispering "Oh my god" then proceeding to look like the proudest person in the room. Ted Sweeran feels.
I love when the camera cuts to other artists and they're just vibing. They're just hyping up their fellow artists (made me smile when it cut to Taylor knowing they're good friends and she's probably so proud of him)
This is the performance that had my jaw on the floor. I’d never seen ed play live before. Watching him expertly perform with just him, his guitar, and some pedals is simply breathtaking
yeah thats crazy i first just watched the video and felt that and then read the comments and saw that everyone felt it at that time. thats the power of music and communicating emotion through your music
Ok so there was this and then there was that terrible performance from Kanye. He gets awards for idk what ... Being narcasstic and Ed doesn't get anything! He's better than a lot of the people that got awards.
I've never seen a person describe a high so good. Not just the lyrics and the music, but also the in-crescendo this song has, is a perfect description of drug high! Amazing performance, amazing song, amazing artist!
It wouldn't matter to Ed if he was performing in front of one person or a million, he does this because it's what he loves doing. You can really feel it in his live performances. I always feel like he's not performing for other people, he's doing it for himself, lost in his own world, and we just happen to be witnessing it. Once in a generation talent.
Ed is such a special performer and it makes me happy that people are finally getting the opportunity to see how he actually plays live... being at one of his shows is a gift and I think that if you're a fan of him at all, you NEED to see him live, at least once because he is one of the best artists I've ever seen live.
+Allison Kitaguchi I'm from Belgium, never got to see him live. If he doesn't play in Belgium soon (after the big break) I'm going to England for sure.
Bruh........ ed kill this shit.. so just to get things clear..... he was recording and looping his vocals and guitar for different parts of the song live??
+almanza862011 Yes he does, The big grey box you see on stage is his custom made loop pedal. I'm planning on building one myself in a few weeks, been planning for months
Saw him a few years back at Wembley. Went in not being much of a fan or expecting much and I was in fucking awe watching this guy. Him performing Bloodstream at like midnight in the pitch black at Wembley was a fucking magical experience
IM SO GLAD HES FINALLY able to perform at an awards show with his loop pedal and his signature abusive guitar shredding hahah. it's seriously great it's like seeing him in concert but now the general public sees how unique he really is and has been all these years. thanks again Ryan!!!
Yeah you are so right. Seeing this performance had me so confused. I thought he was lip-synching and faking playing the guitar. I googled and read about his loop pedal and I was immediately blown away. I've never seen it before and it was so frigging cool to see him essentially building the song as he was playing it. Since then, I've been addicted! This is the performance that converted me and I come back and watch it a few times a week because it's just so Damn good! I don't know how anyone could not be a fan after seeing this. It's perfection!
I am an oldie, a Boomer, and a huge fan of the music between 1963 & 1987, after that everything seemed to go downhill ! The music created in those years has had a lasting effect and influence on everything that has come afterwards ! Some of the music & artists these days can't hold a candle to those Iconic bands ! But Ed Sheeran has the skills and the talent that matches the excitement of that era, and is head & shoulders above most musicians today ! Back in the day, musicians Wrote, Produced, and Played the tracks, Played real instruments, and didn't cheapen their Talent with choreography, flashy lighting and productions (at least, not until they played a huge concert in front of their fans) ! But Ed Sheeran emulates the old school Talent, and BOY, can he sing ! 🇨🇦 LOL
There we go. This song sounds SO much better live than recorded in a studio. Saw this live and I got shivers down my spine, never having heard this song before.
My god Ed. I'm sitting here gaping at my computer. I don't...I can't... So much beauty I just saw. The voice, the guitar, beat, how it all melded into one, and the performance he gave, how heartfelt and passionate he was. Say whatever you want about Ed, but you can't ever claim that he isn't passionate about this.
I wasn't really interested in Ed Sheeran until I saw him doing this performance, he truly amazed me. The most talented male in the music industry right now.
Ed has to be my favorite artist, just because he's so talented and genuine. I feel that if I would see him in person he's the type of person to go to bar with and have a beer... I saw him live last September, and it was great! as soon as his break is over and anounces where his next show is at I am 100% sure I'm going to buy a flight and ticket just to see him.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE ED SHEERAN. I LOVE ALL HIS SONGS. I LIKE WATCHING THESE PERFORMANCES ( FROM 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011 ) AND THE NEW ONES ( DIVIDE TOUR ). ED IS A PHENOMENAL LIVE PERFORMER, SINGER AND SONGWRITER. IN MY OPINION HE IS THE BEST LIVE PERFORMER EVER !
Went to a concert of his and this track played live with the video walls was like an acid trip. Ed kills live. Hope his new era with a band doesn't ruin the magic.
One of the best performances I ever seen and heard can't believe how beautiful and talented Ed Sheeran is #BBMA best live performance that song Bloodstream is a hit OMG.
I love love love love Ed Sheeran with all of my soul and I am just so happy that people could see him with just his guitar and loop pedal. I don't have words to describe this. I was totally speechless! And I like how Taylor Swift said, "OH MY GOD!" It was the best part of the whole show by far.
Who else comes here regularly to watch this video. Just amazing.
Me..obsessed with him and this song.
Me😊
Me
remember watching it live 10 years ago, still gives me chills. Top quality
This is the best version of this song.
right
this and the one from the honda stage. i love them both by the honda stage one is longer so i listen to it more often
His recordings are vanilla. Live, he brings life to his songs.
This is absolutely the best !! Can´t stop listening ....
Listen to the version he does on 1 big weekend
One guy, his guitar, and a couple of loop pedals = far better than all other "live performances" filled with gimmicks, dancers and backup tracks. Ed, you're a genius and you absolutely nailed this. Much respect.
yes... right. That's y he don't need band.
He is band himself.
allewis86, chill! I didn't answered, I was just admiring Ed, like all his fans
Cheers.:)
Exactly 😁too good to be true. Amazing talent 👏👍
allewis86 I mean, the looping thing is partially a gimmick. But it's also what makes him so great and rememberable.
allewis86 Your right
Watching Ed Sheeran perform "Bloodstream" at these awards shows is almost like a religious experience. He slayed at the Brits and again at the BBMA's. He has me mesmerised every time.
Lol! @ Taylor Swift at the end whispering "Oh my god" then proceeding to look like the proudest person in the room. Ted Sweeran feels.
is it weird that I stood up in my room to applaud this performance??
Yes
No
Hell No!!
it would be weird if you didnt
Craig Henery I was about to and then I remembered that I'm in class
I love when the camera cuts to other artists and they're just vibing. They're just hyping up their fellow artists (made me smile when it cut to Taylor knowing they're good friends and she's probably so proud of him)
This is the performance that had my jaw on the floor. I’d never seen ed play live before. Watching him expertly perform with just him, his guitar, and some pedals is simply breathtaking
Every single time I listen to this version I get goosepimples
Lol, when did everyone start calling it goosepimples? It just sounds so weird
+girlfATTY26 hello fellow sheerio 😁
Goosebumps, yeah.
3:40 THAT'S JUST MAGIC.
listening to this with my bff and she's all like I know his throat hurt.
Right? Freaking euphoria.
that's like the best part of the whole performance
Preachhh
+LukeCovers put this in my birthday
did anyone else get a tingle down their spine at 3:40
yeah thats crazy i first just watched the video and felt that and then read the comments and saw that everyone felt it at that time. thats the power of music and communicating emotion through your music
yeah, me.
brian judge yup
brian judge wow who didnt
when i first saw this, i deadass got chills and a shiver up my spine from that exact part. i was in complete awe.
Easily the most talented mainstream performer. Unbelievable.
3:40 that breakdown made me fall out of my chair. literally!!
This live performance still lives in my head now, that loop pedal action
Miss this Ed
This fucked me up. Ed deserves an award for existing.
or maybe for his art
Still gives me chills everytime
How the hell did Ed not win at least 1 award after this performance which he Killed it...again
Michael Ayre Ditto ! Very disappointed . They're all brain and music dead to how great this guy is.
Michael Ayre It's all numbers and facts on the billboard charts. he didn't get #1's taylor did. if anything people need to buy his albums more
Michael Ayre The real question is why didnt he win all the awards?
Michael Ayre IKR
Ok so there was this and then there was that terrible performance from Kanye. He gets awards for idk what ... Being narcasstic and Ed doesn't get anything! He's better than a lot of the people that got awards.
Best performance of the night, hands down
With only a guitar, his voice and a loop pedal he slays them all
2021 and I still remember seeing this performance on TV. So much talent.
sameeee this was so mindblowing. amazing artist
I ALWAYS come back to this performance!!!! Fukn amazing!!!
sold out stadiums and national tv performances with just a loop pedal and a guitar. ed has way too much talent, i'm amazed again
I know right, I just wish he would give me some
+Amrit Kaur give u wat lol
Talent
I've never seen a person describe a high so good. Not just the lyrics and the music, but also the in-crescendo this song has, is a perfect description of drug high! Amazing performance, amazing song, amazing artist!
Ed Sheeran is easily one of the most talented artists of our generation. Definitely the real deal wow.
"when i perform live, feels like I'm meditating”
-YNMIDNY
not only is this sooo much better than the album version, it completely changes how I hear that one. This guy is for real.
Pat Claerhout Another one that's much better than the album version is You need me, I don't need you 😊 th-cam.com/video/91fGWrmmxjQ/w-d-xo.html
One of Eds all time best profomances of bloodstream so talented
Ed is such a special performer and it makes me happy that people are finally getting the opportunity to see how he actually plays live... being at one of his shows is a gift and I think that if you're a fan of him at all, you NEED to see him live, at least once because he is one of the best artists I've ever seen live.

Indeed!
This man is a true treasure.
Extraordinary artist! Blessed to witness in this generation!
a true artist, respectful, no scandal, and abundance of talent
I feel bad for whoever went up after him
Saw him a few years back at Wembley. Went in not being much of a fan or expecting much and I was in fucking awe watching this guy. Him performing Bloodstream at like midnight in the pitch black at Wembley was a fucking magical experience
Nobody puts on a one-man show like Ed Sheeran. Just the best.
As good as it gets. Genius.
2021 anyone? Can't take anymore of the weeknd and ariana grande on the radio, needed real music 😉
Respect. Total respect. No other words would be close enough.
IM SO GLAD HES FINALLY able to perform at an awards show with his loop pedal and his signature abusive guitar shredding hahah. it's seriously great it's like seeing him in concert but now the general public sees how unique he really is and has been all these years. thanks again Ryan!!!
I was saying the same thing when I saw this! I was like "yess finally they get too see just how incredible he is!"
Ryan?
SuAlteza92 his producer
Yeah you are so right. Seeing this performance had me so confused. I thought he was lip-synching and faking playing the guitar. +campjinx watch Give Me Love captured in the Live Room. OMG.
this performance lives in my head rent free

Even Elton john, Paul McCartney and Blondie have all said he's the real deal x
I can't believe they forgot to air the part where he accepted the award for best artist in the history of the universe!
There we go. This song sounds SO much better live than recorded in a studio. Saw this live and I got shivers down my spine, never having heard this song before.
I've probably listened to this 100 times and every single time I do I get chills at that last part where he drops the loop
My god Ed. I'm sitting here gaping at my computer. I don't...I can't... So much beauty I just saw. The voice, the guitar, beat, how it all melded into one, and the performance he gave, how heartfelt and passionate he was. Not surprised at all, he's always killing it !
The chills i feel for this man is unfathomable. FREAKING CHILLS
+Eidrian Christian it's appropriate as this song is about him taking MDMA
Never listened to him this is my first time, my mind just exploded this was amazing .
Dude this is multitasking
His voice is so beautiful that he could sing anything and I'd listen to it. 💗
I really don't know how it feels to be the best. He's having so much fun.
a musician that's passionate for what he does many people loose sight of that when they get famous much respect ed much respect
That performance is flat out legendary. That was sheer perfection
He was amazing! I was watching it in complete awe
this gives me chills EVERY time. he is just too amazing ❤️ 😭
❤❤❤❤❤
How you gonna abuse the guitar like that and transition like nothing happened ? 😂😂... Legendary performance!
From the streets to Arenas what a role model hard working is the truth
This performance made me a serious Ed Sheeran fan. I've watched it everyday since the broadcast.
How can one person make that sound incredible
His sense of rhythm and timing is second to NONE
Bloodstream is and always will be my fav, such a classic.
I'd say Taylor needed a 'wet floor' sign under were she was standing after that look on 4:01😂😂😂😂
I wasn't really interested in Ed Sheeran until I saw him doing this performance, he truly amazed me. The most talented male in the music industry right now.
He doesn't need to win an award to prove that hes an absolute genius.
I feel sorry for the tiny proportion of the population who don't appreciate what a phenomenal talent is on display here. We may never see it again.
The grin at the end like “I fucking nailed that”
Well he fucking did!
@@GooferDusty he absolutely did
This performance is so powerful I don't even have words to describe it
Ed has to be my favorite artist, just because he's so talented and genuine. I feel that if I would see him in person he's the type of person to go to bar with and have a beer... I saw him live last September, and it was great! as soon as his break is over and anounces where his next show is at I am 100% sure I'm going to buy a flight and ticket just to see him.
This will always be one of my favorite performances
Abusive guitar playing is my favourite with Ed :D
i love how you can see his pure passion and enjoyment of his music
one of the only songs where the live version is better then the actual version.
Thats an audience full of musicians and celebrities he got moving like a vrowd at a concert. The man is an incredible talent
I Love you Ed Sheeran!
I prefer the performance at the brits but I was into the twist on the " tell me when it kicks in part"
Same the Brits performance is my religion, I lost count on how many times I've watched it
I don't often say this but: same! It's pure perfection. Although I'm starting to prefer the "tell me when it kicks in" part from this performance.
3:40 ... MY GOD!!
my fave bit! !
+TinglyShoop ASMR goosebumps
+brian judge hahaha kick it ;d
Yeah that kicked in 🔥
RIP hymen
this was one of the sickest performances I've ever seen...killed it.
he is at whole another level fellas
my favorite song by far
I can't stop watching this!
2020 and it still amazes me..
This is pure talent.
A king, the legend himself, ED SHEERAN
What if Ed is like the Leonardo DiCaprio of music? He constantly puts out incredible work but never wins anything...
this might have just been the truest comment i've seen in a while...i just hopw he gets more awards and recognition for such a talent...
he deserves at least like 700000 awards
But he has already won so much?....
He wins a lot of awards like peoples choice or ema's or AMA's but he still wasn't won a granny which he obviously deserves
Shae Crocker not exactly
Went to a concert of his and this track played live with the video walls was like an acid trip. Ed kills live. Hope his new era with a band doesn't ruin the magic.
After seeing him 2 nights ago live with the band I can officially say he absolutely smashes it 👌👌👌
I think I've watched this like 500 times. 3:40 takes my breath away. Such pure talent.
Stephanie Stuart same.. so good
He has a magical power to connect with people.
it has officially kicked in
I saw him life yesterday and seeing this song being played live in front of your eyes is the most amazing thing that ever happend to me
By FAR my Favorite performance. EDDIE.
One of the best performances I ever seen and heard can't believe how beautiful and talented Ed Sheeran is #BBMA best live performance that song Bloodstream is a hit OMG.

My favourite live performance of Ed Sheeran right here
I.. I think I'm in heaven
The frickin best live performer !!!!
This is the most amazing “ in your face” performance of all time!! Showing his peers how it’s done!! Go Ed!
I love love love love Ed Sheeran with all of my soul and I am just so happy that people could see him with just his guitar and loop pedal. I don't have words to describe this. I was totally speechless! And I like how Taylor Swift said, "OH MY GOD!" It was the best part of the whole show by far.
By the best part I mean Ed Sheeran's song, not Taylor Swift's reaction Lol
Or the way the audience screamed and clapped at that exact moment
Hi my name is Ed Sheeran and I just redefined what talent means.
One of the best live performers ever!!
