I bought this concert on vhs and destroyed it. I wore that sucka out. I vowed to my baby sister in 1994 we will see them live one day. Then they broke up. I cried. When they came back in eary 2000. Im like ok we're back in. Dallas June 2023 i made good on that promise. I took my baby sister for her pre bday present. We had a fuckn blast! We were kids again.

I was OBSESSED with this VHS as a kid. Then at 16 I had my BFF watch it with me and we had the greatest time ever. Fast forward to us at 28 in 2017, we're driving down the highway blasting The Right Stuff and Hanging Tough. Now at 34 we still sing Please Don't Go Girl and I'll Be Loving You Forever to each other.
As much as love this band and their songs, this concert is the cherry on top. My favorite. So much nostalgia, so many amazing memories. The end brings me to tears and I'm not ashamed 😂

Her parents discovered that she was seeing them perform. But it turns out they got the wrong girl. It reveals that she was murdered by Robert Anthony Jones in 1994. She was only 16 years old

My best friend from 8th grade had this VHS tape and we watched it every time I spent the night... some of the greatest childhood memories. She was in love with Jordan and I was gaga over Joey! What a time to be alive. I didn't get to see them in concert as a teen, so when they came to Virginia Beach in 2010, I wasn't going to miss out. It poured down rain, but nothing was going to keep me from seeing them live. I'm a blockhead for life!
I would watch this and Hanging Tough almost every morning before going to school. I was obsessed with them and Donnie was my favorite!! I think I saw them 5 times in concert in '89. My bedroom was wall papered in their posters. I still have the dolls and my Hanging Tough jacket, and dozens of pins. Donnie is my neighbor now too! Well, they live the next town over from me.

My sister was gifted the VHS for Christmas in 1990. Keep in mind that we did not own a VCR yet but my aunt had one and my sister and I would watch it there. My two cousins, my sister and I would pretend that we were there in the audience and cheer, sing along and all around loose our f - ing minds 😂 My aunt Kim and uncle Mike were always so good about letting us be fan girls and have our moment ❤ Will always be a fan of NKOTB 🎉

I’m 47 and ARMY since 2021 when I first heard Butter! It has the sound I recognize from my childhood and New Kids. NKOTB paved the way for my 7 angels. May they be 50 and still healthy and singing 💜

OMG I was so obsessed with this VHS tape after I bought it with my allowance...I was 16 and a member of the official fan club, had all the pins and merchandise, every tape they made, including the Christmas album, Hangin Tough VHS, and Step By Step Live VHS....and my walls were solid covered with their posters....Jonathan was my hugest crush!!

My sister was 13 to 16 during the height of New Kids’ fame, and SO into them. It’s a great memory for me consequently, and I’m 4 years younger than she is and a guy. But I have to admit, her passion for them even slightly made me into them too. They were her first concert at the then brand new Palace of Auburn Hills in the Detroit area, and I can remember her bedroom had everything from posters, to dolls, to of course cassette tapes from them. A few years back my parents were clearing out some things from their attic and found this exact VHS tape along with another by New Kids, that were my sister’s. Oddly my sister didn’t want them, but I decided to hold on to them both myself, just because of the good memories of that time I still have.

Maurice Starr was the key menthor of these world-famous late 80's early 90's Boy Band. When first aired Please Don't Go Girl single on a local radio broadcaster many people thought these kids were blacks on that time due to R&B and funky music was performed only by the black community but when they realised these Boy Band was formed by white boys they couldn't believe their eyes what they saw according to what they were listening to. NKOTB one of the biggest Boy Bands during that time. Maurice Starr definitively didn't go wrong. The New Kids Project was a world phenomenal success no one can til these days deny! Boston must be proud of these five talented stars.

I finally get to watch them live in Wheatland, CA 7/2/24. It was such a blast! I brought my daughter with me, she had so much fun ❤ They aged like fine wine...will be a forever fan.

I have vivid memories in my old neighborhood of watching this concert on VHS with the older girls down the street... I was probably 4 years old at the time, and they were like 6-8, so I felt so cool, haha! Watching this brings it all back...especially when Joey sings "Please Don't Go Girl" ... he was probably the first crush I ever had. That curly hair through the top of his hat really got me I guess haha. Thanks for uploading this & bringing all of the nostalgia back!

Ahhhh Yah. These kids were on 🔥 in 1989/1990. I was working at an Outdoor Concert Theater Outside Chicago while Attending UCLA as a Theater Student & I did work this show in '89 & '90. Well, They opened for Tiffany, but After thecKids left the Stage, she was playing to less than 1/2 an Audience, so she decided to Open for them & Well, she was playing to a Full House. I worked Backstage Hospitality for a loje 2 Shows & talked to all if them. Yhey wete all Vety Vool & Friendly & I was Tottaly Impressed on how Gianormus they were & Causing all that Comotion everywhere they went for being so Young. Tgey laughed & said, "Yah We Can Hardly Believe it Either" Very Entertaining Show to watch, I mean every sing they're all moving every second🎶🎵🩵💙👏👏😁
