It’s funny because I just watched Gen V a couple weeks ago and this was the first of 3 songs from the Spirit Halloween track when I worked there over the autumn season. The girl who played Cate also looks exactly like one of my younger coworkers this season. Basically, the whole show took me back to Halloween work season, not a bad thing at all. The Spirit track is the only repeating work soundtrack that never annoyed me.

Since it appears that ‘Sarah Barrios and her ghoulish friends,’ as a previous post so aptly put it, read over the comments, I have to take a minute to share some love. Sure, I think this is the best Halloween song since my (long ago) youth, but that doesn’t compare to my 7 year old daughter, who LOVES Skeleton Sam. It’s her favorite song by far, and whenever we hear it, she stops what she’s doing to have a dance party. (This year, she’s even trying to mimic the vocal style). So thanks Sarah and company for giving one kid her ultimate Halloween song!
