Praying before he eats put a smile on my face! Omg I feel like I’m behind with my son. He’ll be 10 months this Friday 12/31/21 and still in jar baby food. I want to start adding more solids to his diet. Thanks for these videos very inspiring!

Freezing the chicken is genius! It’s been a journey with my LO, she’s allergic to eggs , dairy and peanut. She doesn’t like certain textures so breakfast is always hardest. This gave me hope
I wish I had the peace of mind to let my 10 month old go to town on food like that. I struggle with the fear of choking. I feel like I’m not letting her develop as well as she could because of my fear. Ugh.

Same here, I get very nervous when i think about giving my 10 month old solid food to chew, so he eats just purees and poridges,pureed fish and potato,mashed banana 🙈 he has just 2 teeth for now

I do too! And my baby only has two teeth so far. So I find he doesn't have enough to get that "chew" he needs.

I seen a hack for bananas. It’s made it so much easier! Once you cut it in half you can use your fingers to separate the banana into 3 pieces. It was a game changer for me, I totally understand the struggles of trying to cut one handed, so anyway I can avoid that I do! I love all these meal ideas. These are great videos to share we can never have enough food ideas for our little ones.

We just introduced cottage cheese on toast the other day and my 7 month old loved it! My favorite easy food tip is to buy peeled and cooked packaged beets and grate it onto plain yogurt!

I started a little late with BLW. Like at 8 months. But I’m still a little scared😅 he’s 11 months on Friday & I’m feeling more comfortable giving him what we eat.

Haha I'm so glad you mentioned that you can't find the bottom of Rowan's pit 😂 I always end meal time for Oaklynn because she looks full (sitting back, deep breaths) and seems relatively uninterested in what's left on her tray but, she'll never turn down a bite of meat or carbs so, it's hard to say for sure if she is really full! 😆
That’s awesome that she gives you some signs! Rowan doesn’t at all 😂 He’s always just yelling “NOM NOM NOM” if he’s out of food 😂

Quick question, I serve my son ground chicken in strips because thats what I learned for BLW. My son is 8m old and I'm always scared of serving him meat in strips and feel i'd feel more comfortable if i shread it. When can I do this? his pitcher grasp is pretty good too.

White grape juice is very sugary, and also I’d use avocado as the additional fat source rather than cream cheese. Much healthier and not processed.

Hello, I love your videos! Can I check what food/fruits should I offer if baby finds it hard to poo but not constipated and also when can I start introducing cheese into my baby’s diet?
I’d definitely check with your pediatrician on this one! I know the “p” foods (pears, peaches, peas, plums) are good for constipation!

HELP! I don’t know where to begin with baby led weaning. I’ve done it but my baby just throws food everywhere and in the end eats nothing I basically still do purée food and he’s 9 month old. I wanna advance and help my child eat solids without having to blend, but idk where to begin or scared of choking risks…
How many teeth does your baby have? Mine has 2 little bottom teeth. Ive been afraid to give him solids. Everything i cook him a mush up or puree a little bit
How far along the ten month mark is this baby? How many teeth does he have? My child just turned ten miles but he doesn't need anywhere near us amount of food probably in the whole day

Hey, trying to get my 11 month old little girl to drink from a straw, any tips on how you got Rowan to do so? 😄
He kept trying to drink from my water bottle straw so we got him his own. I think he just learned from watching!

When my son was little I was able to teach him to drink from a straw pretty quickly after a couple trys he picked it right up. I used a Capri Sun juice pouch with the straw in it and put the straw in his mouth...I squeezed the pouch and juice came up through the straw. That led him to sucking the juice out of reflex, actually. He picked it up almost instantly
tmy 9 month old doesn't eat at all, he is still on full time breastfeed. please share some tips to help

I love the idea of freezing some shredded chicken! I’ll have to do this for my daughter. What’s the best way to reheat the small amount?
I ask because whenever I reheat really small amounts of food in the microwave (say eggs) to 165 F, it ends up dry and hard!
Personally, if I have enough time, I do it slowly in q bowl of hot water. I find that usually gets it warm without ever overheating it. Be more realistically, chuck it on a pan on medium low, which heats it up without cooking and burning it!
My one hand 🙋♂️ is also working well 😂

hi, do you do his meal first then a bottle? or vice versa? My 9 month old still takes 4, 6oz bottles per day...
My LC, midwife and Dr told me that breastfed babys under 1 don‘t need water for hydration. Only a little bit to learn how to drink. If they get to much water, they won‘t nurse as much because their little bellies are to full and therefore won‘t get as much nutrients…
This is at least common advice where I come from (Austria)… maybe this is different in warmer climates 😅
We were told by our pediatrician to offer water with every meal! He was still breastfed at this point too. I’d suggest everyone talk to their individual doctor because they will know your child best!
