Great video! I'm still learning all the technicalities of photography but one big thing I think is making people more drawn towards mirrorless camera than DSLR camera is that in mirrorless camera it shows in the screen how the picture is gonna turn out before taking the shot. With DSLR camera you can't trust the screen at all and you see the results only after taking the picture.

hi, do you still recommend a compact camera in 2021 for purely photo shooting? smartphones seem do very well. some reviews say they even do better job in low light

I use a DSLR, a Bridge camera and compact camera. They all serve their various purpose depending on what I need at that time. As an amateur outdoor photographer who enjoys landscapes, nature and close ups/ macro it depends where I am going to be, countryside, high mountains, beach etc.

I currently use a bridge camera for wildlife i.e birds, rabbits etc. However, I am finding that the zoom is not enough and it doesn't always capture the detail I'm after. Also could be that I need more practice. Would a DSLR be better for these photos?

Are compact cameras in the same caliber as dslrs and mirrorless? Or are we sacrificing video quality and certain specs by using a compact camera
I’m personally a beginner in the photography world, and the distinction you’ve described helped although I had a question about Bluetooth and WiFi connections,,, which is better to look for in a camera?
Either. Personally, I carry a SD card to lightning adapter so I can transfer those photos directly to my phone or ipad to edit. Same thing you can do with laptops.
Rarely have I used the wifi or bluetooth to transfer photos across, it consumes to much battery from the camera as well as your phone and if the signal drops or weakens you may lose the original quality. But if I had to choose then probably wifi. Best of luck with your photography journey!

Could you recomend me good easy to use compact camera for video recording with wide aperture opening to get shalow depth of field?
My personal fav combo would be Canon M50 body + Canon EF-S 50mm f/1.8. This will give you great video quality with really good depth of field. Be weary of the fact that to use the Canon EF-S 50mm lens on M50 Body, you will need a EF-S to EF-M adapter.
Or
Go for a compact camera such as the Canon G7X ii. You can’t change lenses on this one but it takes amazing video and really good depth of field. Check prices out for these things and decide what works for your needs and budget!
i wish to take mostly landscapes and some portraits too. I think a compact camera will do great for me but i had doubt about its picture quality of a budget one compared to same budget dslr

Question though. You say a bridge camera quality isnt the same as a DSLR or Mirrorless and i agree. I have Canon 250D with a 24-70 L lens and a Sony A7R II with two £900 lenses and a bridge wont take photos to the same quality. But if someone wants a camera would a £450 bridge camera actually be better than a Canon 2000D with a 18-55 kit lens. surely it would

I own a bridge camera nikon p900 has a great zoom, I’m not a professional but let me ask you is mirrorless and dclr cameras are more for professional? Also how about the zoom on those camera could it compare to the brigde cameras?
Mirrorless Cameras and DSLR’s are used the same way as Bridge cameras in terms of software, manual mode or automatic settings. Just Mirrorless and DSLR allow you to change lenses. So you could buy a DSLR and attach a great 200mm/400mm/600mm or even higher zoom lens for very large zooms. However this could get pricey compared to a Bridge camera set up but the quality with a dslr/mirrorless will be much higher. Hope this helps!

Bro I don’t really know the pricing of cameras in INR. But canon 250d should fit into your budget hopefully. Great for photo and video. Canon G7X is good. Sony a5100 is fantastic. Sony a6000. PANASONIC LUMIX DC-TZ95EB-K. Hopefully one of these fits in your budget and works out for you 👍🏻📸

@@lennynoronha8940 u can use something called a afocal adapter but their usually expensive.i too am on a budget but want a camera for astrophotography. I was considering the sony dsc h300 for DSO but they won't do any good for planets
