I got one of these. My dad gave it to me a long time ago. The disc function is completely broken. It keeps ejecting the disc tray and it won’t close, and I don’t know if the cassette deck works. The aux works fine tho, and that’s what I’m worried about. Other than that, they are really good sounding speakers.

I possess the same music system.The radio still works. Sw/MW/FM. Is perfect. The deck too is O.k.But unfortunately the changer is out of order. The tray works but as soon the CD is inserted the screen Read's no disc.I took the system to the authorized Service centre. Parts are not available. Please advise.

I have it plugged into my multimedia PC and it works really great! My CD drive is broken but i can use the pc to do that obviously

it's not broken. Simply do a laser head cleaning and clean belts with some alcohol from residue and gunk. Look up tutorial online, it's not hard.

Late response but this system does not have auxiliary. I use a cassette with a wired aux cable to play from my phone

No, it can not. There were no mp3 at that time:( I was connecting my DVD player via AUX .
