Hehe - I think ya jinxed the Leopard 2 Stealth: "I'm really happy this Leopard AS1 is here - making my life much easier" then 8 sec later.. Woooosh --------------> Boom! (as an atgm destroys it) :-) It's kind of like on X-Com, right as you've/we've said - "this mission is gonna be a piece of cake" this apparently is the cue for everything to go to hell in a handbasket hehe Helps keep everyone on their toes. Lastly, those Maglans really do have crazy good long range - one can really lock down a large area if the unit is in just the right position. What is their AP #? and points-wise how much do they cost to bring in? one last thing hehe - at 42:30ish (and this is good natured teasing, but I'll explain) you said that b/c you had the advantage and your flanks and the flanks of your teammates were well covered and supported that you didn't feel a need to push, and that they didn't need to either. And that waiting instead for Redfour to get increasingly desperate and then make more mistakes as they try and break through your lines. And this reminds me a bit of the Maginot Line a tad.. hehe And yes, I know the circumstances are entirely different but I'm more just pointing out that while before you couldn't understand why anyone would possibly want to adopt a static strong defense where the enemy would have to throw themselves at you frustratingly, instead of always pushing. So I think you may sort of answered your own question here - that yes, you did spend most of the battle pushing but that once you got into a situation where a defensive line was strategically beneficial, and most importantly I think, you said that you guys were ahead and you were adopting the defensive line b/c you didn't want to lose and give up your advantage. And I could picture the guys manning that Maginot line equivalent from the other game kinda thinking the same thing: "we've got this perfect defensive spot - if the enemy wants to win they are going to have to try and break through and so we technically have the advantage where we are now, so why not stand here and fortify and let the enemy try and beat themselves against our defenses?" I just wanted to show at times it is a matter of perspective whether something seems fair or fun or ? When you're the team trying to slog through the enemies defenses - as while you narrated that video you were picturing yourself thinking about attacking those guys' fortified positions - their choice of taking up a defense becomes frustrating to the one who is attacking and maybe so much so that its not worth it. But then, when things are flipped a bit and you are now the defender, with the advantage and holding back the attackers, it now feels like a sensible decision to make if you want to win. I know that was a messy explanation - I apologize I'm very tired and a bit sore from falling down in our bathroom last night when I was half asleep - uggh. At any rate - again I don't mean any of that to sound negative - just a way to shine a light on how different perspectives can significantly alter the way situations appear to those involved - and it can be very hard to understand why someone else chooses a certain plan of action until perhaps one ends up in a similar situation (of a sort - again I know the circumstances of the two battles were different, but in some ways the situation was comparable) and then you may find that their choice even becomes the intuitive one, or at least becomes one that makes sense. Great video. and yes, I already said before in another comment, but Congrads yet again on the great news.
No I don't stream wargame. The risk of stream sniping is too great. If I enable a stream delay then I can't interact with chat, so I just don't stream.
I heard you speaking of the maglans lack of ability to take on helicopters and so I was wondering if you could potentially try an sas , maglan grouping for a special forces squad to hunt enemy cv's / expensive units. Also great vid.
Not sure if too personal, but what city in the netherlands are you from/living in stealth? :) just moved to the netherlands and i really like it here! keep up the great work
I'm lowkey mad that those Hamers in Spawn just stood there all game, they could have been perfectly useful supporting the Sherman's, or plugging other gaps. Even with just the mg and no armor it can take on choppers and infantry, even if not the most efficient.
@@Stealth17Gaming Still well played anyways, all those units you inherited probably drove your attention to other areas, can be difficult to do all that tactical thinking, and then the management of units as need arises.
I had a question, I’m tempting to buy this game, but i was wondering if the community is noob friendly or will i be instantly “kicked” from servers because I’m new ?
Depends on what rooms you join. You can almost always games that are 10 vs 10. You're also welcome to join my Discord (link in description) to play with experienced players. Most are welcoming to beginners.
There is less of an issue of being "kicked" than finding games. Large games tend to be easier to find/get in. For smaller (e.g. 2v2), you do need similar skill level to have good games. In my experience, finding games was already difficult back when Red Dragon was released -- more difficult to find matching skill level players. I can't imagine it being easier now.

Very well played Stealth. That opening was actually pretty intense.
The narration and gameplay is great. Would love to see more of it
27:00 "What the f--- have these people been doing? And why am I the one who has to fix everything?" Welcome to fatherhood, Stealth.
Hahaha yeah
The amount of infantry you killed in their transports was insane well done.
Mostly luck, especially early game. I had very little time to manage everything properly.
@@Stealth17Gaming Excellent job though managing the amount of stuff that people dropped on you. Good show over all.
Love the live commentary. You shouldn't worry, it was fantastic 😄
Given the circumstances thats was a very good play by you sir. Great and entertaining video, thank you very much!
great video as usual, keep it up!
