From a national player if you go in and show that your coachable they will select you for one of the top teams.
so random but it's so cute that you guys were head bands over in America. Here in Australia you might see like 1 or 2 people wear it, I play in a schools nationals team. I think it looks so good and professional hahaha

Omigosh! We were there! We played on the court to the left of yours! Court 10 I believe. Your condo also looks like ours, only flipped around. I also have the same sweatshirt as your teammate. The one that says: I can't I have volleyball. Only it's grey, lol!

I’ve played club volleyball for 4 years and I sadly still struggle with a over hand serve. I also do gymnastics and I’ve done it for 7 years so I have the arm muscle to hit the ball but it’s such a struggle for me. Any tips?
Mikayla Oviedo when you toss, make sure the ball is not too high up, because you can lose control and it hurts your timing. Toss a little in front of you, and if you cant with one hand, using both really helps with control. Also, make sure your hand is open when you contact, its like you are high fiving a tall person who wants to give you a hard time. Stepping into the serve also gives you more power, because your body is rotating, working not just your arm, but your core and legs as well!
I totally agree with Lexxie! Also, make sure that your elbow is up, you need to make sure you whip your arm around to get the fast, strong hit. Make sure that your hand is firm and big, you need a hard contact to get it over the net. It takes a lot of practice. It took me awhile to get it down. (There are several good videos on TH-cam to help you!) Just keep working at it & don’t ever give up. You can do it! It’s so worth it! I believe in you, good luck! ❤️
Try to swing your arm fast. It's not all about the muscles. It's really important to do the hit with much energy and fast :)
make sure your toss is out in front of you and when you step into it, make sure the ball is still out in front of your serving arm. make sure you “open and close the door” which means you turn fully facing the side of the court and when you hit the ball pull your body forward hard and fast for power. if you do that, you should get it over every time
My coach said to my team everyday "swing harder" and then she says that means "swing faster" 😂😊

I had a tourney yesterday and I got 10 aces in one game! We won because of that which is so great! Today is the playoffs!
I played against that black and red team in multiple tournaments! I remember they were like TVC or something like that!

Hi! I love watching your videos! It is my first time playing on a travel team who has big tournaments like this! And I'm really nervous!!!! What should I expect when I first get there? Hope you see and respond to this! Thanks -Mallory
expect a lot of people and for it to be VERY loud. it’s an awesome experience. i absolutely love big tournaments. they can be overwhelming, but they’re a blast! have fun!!

I’m the exact same! I love volleyball so much. This was Winter Bump in Myrtle Beach, SC - January 2018. You are so precious, I’m so glad you loved this video! I’m an outside hitter & right side hitter. What about you?
im an outside too ! do you have any tips on getting on top of the ball for a kill ?
I had the exact same problem, since I'm only 5'7", but I started doing some weights and strengthening my legs. Box jumps also help! (You can look up videos on how to get a higher jump & workouts to have stronger legs) Your jump is the biggest factor. You need to swing your arms and explode on your last two steps of your approach, to get high enough. Then follow through, whipping your arm downward! I would never follow through enough for the ball to go down, I would just hit it out. It honestly takes a ton of practice and work, I am just starting to get the hang of it, myself. Keep at it, you can do it! Don't ever give up, it'll all be worth it.
