Many preachers fail to address the meaning of the curse adequately. Using the term "generational curse" is a limited way of describing a complex issue. They often fail to describe the type of curse and its origin broadly, which can lead to confusion and contradictions with the Bible and the word of God. However, for those who understand the things of the spirit, it is clear that what the preacher is trying to say is that the curse comes from family idol worship, not from our God, the Lord Jesus Christ. This is because Jesus has already paid for us and taken on all curses on the cross.
The curse comes from the shrine of family idol worship alter or ancestors' worship alter. It is a generational curse that family members evoke through the practice of witchcraft, idol worship, and demonic covenants.
