je vis en Guyane française Amérique du sud et j'apprécie grandement vos tenues. Enfin! La première danseuse danse vraiment sans réserve ou retenue. Elle est superbe💫
For people who are confused with the groomsmen in nigerian attire, the groom is Nigerian and the bride is Congolese, hence the half n half between the groomsmen in Nigerian attire and the bridesmaids in Congolese attire. This is a Nigerian & Congolese wedding.
Great music, nice to see the men in traditional robes, wish the women were also in traditional dress, though they are lovely in these outfits as well. I wanted to see more, thanks for posting!
@@akunno7156 Thank you for that correction. I recognize the fabric as West African, but the style seems modern. I think because the men are in Nigerian robes and the women not in Nigerian dress, I was confused.
This music is so beautiful, I love it, I do not understand the words, I know good music whenever I Listen to good music, the DANCING, magnificent I have been listening to this music over and over and over, the music is awesome, the DANCING, beautiful.
@@faruqolatoyosi713 The reason why these garments are common in west Africa is because they are inspired by the Arab expansion into parts of West Africa, central and north-africa and almost all of east-africa. That is why these garments are also common in Senegal, Gambia, Mali etc. Etc. The arabs colonised parts of Africa before the Europeans came in I believe somewhere between the 6th/ 7th century and the 13th century
@@benbewa stop the lies Yoruba attire is what’s in this video. In Senegal they wear something similar but it’s not the same (I think it’s called bubu )

Exactly!! It’s a shame coz others are representing their cultures to the world yet we’re just being copy-cats. That ain’t necessarily freedom to dress.

They should be in their traditional dress. Rather in converted religious attires. Conventional wisdoms of nounces of dance in that dresses is not happening.
