Thanks Rob I took advantage of this discount checking out a Ford Focus ST I’m buying, it gave me a print out of 20 pages with lots of info even down to the comprehensive massive list of the spec of the car! Only thing I didn’t see however was a list of previous owners unless I missed within all the other blurb, anyway thanks mate 👍🏻
Crikey that’s been hit hard. Testament to the design though and the video shows that the crumple zones did their job. All the bits designed to bend and break have worked and the occupants got out safely. Looking forward to seeing this put back together in a proper repair particularly the parts round the turret. No wood screws round here!
I just love your positivity, you look at a pile of mangled metal, shrug your shoulders as though it is just a surface scratch! It really is uplifting with all the negativity in the world at the moment......
Normally, (if a car has more than a small dent repaired) I'd NEVER buy a car that was accidented for obvious reasons, and the grey Fiesta is perfect example of why I don't. Knowing that you and Chris repaired it, however, I wouldn't give it a seond though. The trick is knowing who fixed the car and how. I would buy that car (knowing Chris did the work) anytime because he fixes cars to exact manufacturer specs so it'll be safe and done properly.
Rob , your not going to like this...... just had sombody I know loose two fingers in their own workshop. Those white trainers have got to go , decent working boots PLEASE. Broken toes and bleeding feet are so very painfull, I know. Loving you channel and content you and Chris are very professional at your craft. Keep up the great content thanks..
The wife laughs at me when these videos pop up, they honestly make my day after a shift in work What a mess lads - stuck a couple of coffees into the fund for both of you, looks like you will need it with this one
Really gonna enjoy your work on this one! I've got a 66plate 1.0 Ecoboost Fiesta (tho not 140bhp!) and watching you work your magic on this is gonna be a real treat. Crack on fellas!
Great one gents. Just shows how well designed modern cars are for the main cage to be undamaged and even the screen intact etc. Looking forward to seeing it put back together 👍
I have to say that you are both so very lucky. You complement each other in your behaviour and working practices. It comes I think from mutual respect.
Joking apart, that lad learned the best lesson he’ll ever get because he walked away unhurt, he won’t make the same mistake again. I’ll definitely be looking for this one when it becomes available for sale.
Having worked on those engines before and knowing the cost of the timing tools and labour to change just that front cover and that fact its a floating crank pulley that requires 700nm tightening torque, I'd suggest a good second hand engine and save yourself the time and effort. The tools themselves are £££s and are a must, even before you factor in the cost of the cover and the timing belt which you'd change whilst you're in there because they're so problematic
So nice to see you guys doing things in the best standards. Your family and parents must be so proud of you both, you are a credit to our trade. Please don’t change 👍🏻
You guys are becoming Fiesta ST and Fiat 500 specialists! The standard when you finished the Red ST to is anything to go by your reputation will grow. Thanks for the videos gents.
Can't see any money in this one but the videos will be interesting. Real Arthur Tussik stuff. Ecoboost engines are primarily made of chocolate, surprised you didn't try and get it running first. Firstly, very sorry for the previous owner, I’d be gutted to! However it will be good for him to see it being brought back to A1 condition, which I know it will be, may be you guys should consider giving him first refusal when complete, just an idea, not really my place to say, apologies. From a SRUK it’s brilliant, the content this is going to create will be excellent, I’m really looking forward to seeing and understanding how it will be repaired. I did appreciate the live camera rather than time laps, thanks for that Chris. Keep up the good work guys. Thank you!
It would be worth doing a cam belt and water pump change while you are doing the cam belt casing repair,it would be a selling point and easy to do while the engine is out
Whilst you have done a quite a few Fiesta's the repairs on this one will be a bit different and will be great for us to watch. Brilliant that you have the parts car and will be able to use many of its parts on this one - the gift that keeps on giving! as I think Rob has said in the past🙂

The old owner? Just a thought, anyhow enough waffle...see u both soon in the next video

Guys, really love the first vids, watching how easy you make it look taking the car apart. Particularly looking forward to seeing that turret replaced. Gutted for the lad. :( I don't know if the rules have changed but, usually, insurers won't let you go 3rd party on such a new car. You have to go fully comp. Still, this one is going to get another chance at life after it helped save the lives of two people already, which is all good. Modern cars really are superb in accidents these days. I've just put myself in the lad's shoes for a minute and imagined how I would feel when you've finished it. It's going to be tough for him, of course, but another great rebuild series for us. Good luck guys. :)
