I don't own any LT Wright knives, but this one certainly looks good. I too like A2 tool steel for fixed blade knives. My take on scandi grinds is they are great for bushcrafting, but less than ideal for food prep and wild game processing. Thanks for sharing, take care and Cheers!
Thanks for commenting! I agree. I guess I’ve been inspired by our Scandinavian counterparts to give their grind a shot to process game if that’s truly all that they use. Though I think it’s pretty much a sure thing that Scandis don’t work as well in the kitchen. All the best 😎
The mouse stamp came from his battle with mice in his first appearance. I think he had the mouse stamp edition for his second appearance in Mongolia. The Genesis is my go too for all things bushcraft.
The larry roberts edition came out after the show which is also what led to the larry roberts gen 6 because after being on the show and using the regular genesis he wanted a genesis with a longer blade. The gen 6 is what he took with him on his second appearance on the show.
@@adrienjames I agree it doesn't look proportionate to me either it's an Lt though so I'm sure it's great. I have the regular genesis and am very happy with it. I do wish I would have spent the couple extra bucks on the Larry Roberts edition. I really like the white liners and I'm sure it fills the hand just a touch better.
I have the genesis in scandi and a GNS in saber grind. Between those you have knives that should handle most of what gets thrown at ya out there. I also carry a Winkler combat axe if I need to do heavy chopping.
I've got a few of LT's knives and given some as gifts. This one looks great
Awesome. Do you have a favorite? I’m loving this one so far 😎
Looks like a a great knife!
I've become a huge LT Wright fan. Thanx fo the review!
Thanks! It is such a great knife. Beautiful performer. You end of having to pay a pretty penny for LTWK but they are heirloom pieces no doubt. 🌲🪵🔥

Thanks for the info. Isn’t it a great knife? Might be my favorite of all time
@@adrienjames I have a lot of bushcraft knives, but this is the one I keep going back to. It just doesn't feel right to go to the woods without it.

Awesome thanks for that info. The gen 6 always looked a bit off to me proportionately. Fantastic knife though I’m sure. And useful
