I too, am a mama who loves coloring books and coloring😌 I've seen all of these, but your video just helped me decide that the second one is my favorite and one I'll definitely be buying!
I love the third book best, though some of the second were cute as well. I tend to use Watercolour pencils on my books, and do a wet/dry combo. My child is grown and in tech school now, but I think I may have to send him some books for decompressing days, as he used to paint a lot in them. If you like Gothic Architecture at all, they have a lot of Mandala style colouring books that I think you'd enjoy.
The details in the third book are so cute! I am definitely going to pinch the bat page to colour if my niece permits. 😄 I haven't used watercolour pencils in a minute! Great idea! And, yes, I *adore* gothic architecture! Thanks for all your awesome recommendations. 🖤
@ Oh absolutely! ‘‘Twas near the end of our visit, and I was extremely peeved the wildlife had been hiding from me (I was napping when a cassowary decided to pace our car in FNQ!), and so to be at the zoo and have the trees bordering the park full of fruit bats? AMAZING. My niece was having a tantrum and I was just yeah yeah but BATS. 😂
I've had a fear of bats since I was 6 because when we moved into my childhood home our cellar was full of them. Our first night there it was really hot 🥵 so everyone slept with windows open and my windows screen was broken, a bat 🦇 flew into my room and got stuck and it woke me up bouncing off the walls in my room. It was terrifying to my tiny little self at the time so I developed an irrational fear of the poor creatures which I am working on still to this day!! It's comforting to see things like this and to see bats in non threatening ways 🖤
