- Due to popular request, here is how to one stick “like an old man”. Easier, quieter, safer and how I think you’ll start to climb as well.

To anyone who is offended or feels that I’m using the term for “old man” in a disrespectful way. Please recognize I am not. Like the story of the two bulls on the hill.
Two bulls are up on the hill staring down upon their herd.
The young bull says to the old bull "Hey let's run down there real quick and jump on one of those cows!"
The old bull says "Nah, lets walk down.......and breed em all"
With age often comes wisdom, and that is what my reference is too.
Obviously, I may need more of both. lol 
The sole purpose of this video is to help people see that one sticking doesn’t have to be difficult or arduous, but can be done safely, simply and with minimal effort.
Like always, be safe and never attempt something you do not feel is unsafe or exceeds your climbing abilities.
So good to see you moving your tether up as you go. So much safer, and really is quite easy. Also, the leg hook works great for stabilizing yourself.
I’m 55 and started saddle hunting last year.
I’m a public land hunter and have had my pre set paracord loop taken down from the tree I had it in.
I happened to have my one stick with me besides my platform.
It saved the day’s hunt by being prepared to one stick if needed.

Rappeling is the best. 40 ft of rope and a carabiner, Munter hitch, fairly simple and the safest way down!

@@SteveMcQueen-bx4hu yes, repelling down FOR SURE! The bottoms are first lite and I’m not sure what the top is. It doesn’t have a label, but just an under layer of some sort.
I am at least a decade older than you, heavier, and out of shape with a bad back. I say this because I want you to keep it in mind as I say this. The S.M.A.R.T One Stick (NO SLACK) Method is the easiest. I know you will love it. GOD BLESS>
@@LIFEONTHELINE-xn8gs Thanks! Yes, I have seen it and like it as well. I mean absolutely no disrespect as far as age goes either. I mean this “old man” as a token of respect. When I was younger I just muscled my way through most things, but I’ve learned by watching people who are older do those same things easier and better than I was, by being smart and efficient.

Hey, great demonstration by you. I enjoyed it. Don't worry about the "old man" part. I'm nearly 70 and and I raised three girls. So to me, I earned these gray hairs, so I shall wear them as a badge of honor! God bless!!
