- Hey guys, what’s happening? Niyat here with Film Comics Explained. Today we’re continuing our run into Warhammer 40K, with a deep dive into the extensive historical chronology of the Milky Way Galaxy as depicted in the Warhammer 40,000 universe over the next few weeks.
This is all with regards to the timeline’s relation to humanity and the Imperium of Man. It’s a massive undertaking, so I’ve decided to split the project into 4 or 5 parts.
In this video, effectively Part 1, we’ll be doing an overview of Prehuman History of the galaxy, with a look at the Old Ones, the C’tan, the Necrons, and the Eldar. All of whom are ancient civilisations that existed before humanity.

got off work, about to sleep, sees 40k lore... have to watch
I was just thinking about how convenient it would be if we had little nano machines to do all of our work for us. Your laundry would be clean and folded in mere seconds with just an action command. In fact, why do laundry when you can just get a clean change of any clothes you wish with said action command? Why do anything except explore your creative side by constructing whatever it is that you imagine? This is the level of technology here, which if they actually had that at that point I doubt they wouldn't have the ability to overcome their own genetic flaw created by their dying star. They had the ability at that point but they trusted the wrong entities.
Lol, gaawd I hate laundry. Well, more succinctly: I hate folding said laundry.
But, having some good content (or good music) does help pass the time while doing this neverending chore.

I'm so glad you have decided to do this as a series, like many I am part of the newest resurgence of fans. Sadly it seems we stepped in right about the time GW started to throw a bitch-fit.
Plus I be a broke bitch so this is helping quite a lot with getting into the lore, a lot easier then trying to scour over 2k books aimlessly like a blind version Lorgar with a stiffy in the religious book section of the library.
That the necrons only have one means of interstellar travel at FTL speeds is not true, they do have inertialess drives as well, that are said to be continuously accelerating beyond even light speed towards their destination. It's slower on average, but becomes faster at longer distances basically. Dolman gates are just their fastest method of sending ships around, but they can also teleport smaller objects undisclosed distances in the several light year range in an instant as well. The Warp is not the only sole means of FTL travel in WH 40k, you should rectify this in later series. I think it's more that they think warp travel primitive and not worth the effort than not being able to utilize it, if that was true than ships wouldn't be able to use it either and I'm sure they can make gellar fields if need be.

I don't think that the Necrontier were deceived exactly, the C'tan gave them everything that they wanted technically and the cost wasn't disclosed because they received benefits from it. Maybe they didnt have to sacrifice their souls in the process but they do essentially have unlimited time to reverse it, not for all but for many who still have intact consciousness after all this time.
This story is way more interesting than the bible!
