Absolutely stunning, Nefault, I do have some ideas, if you don't mind listening. 1 this game is definitely subject to speed runs or in this case trying to finish it with a better time than before. My suggestion is, you know how the enemy has a few invincibilty frames after being struck? I would suggest if you can, a way to sweet spot or attack repeatedly, some way of attacking that would require skill more than hit, wait, hit. Thats all, love the act 1 fast act 2 platformer idea though! Keep it up!

Loving the progress of this game. It brings in abilities and gimmicks from all the boost games (Unleashed, Colours, and Generations) so perfectly while still having the spin dash! This looks really polished and seems like a game released by SEGA. Keep it up :D
Beat 'em up rooms, awesome! I know that a lot of people hate the beat-em-up rooms, but I loved them in Sonic Rush. They gave you a break from running around without getting too much in the way.

Hey nefault this game is extraordinary and i can't wait to see the transformation in-game of sonic and shadow into super sonic and super shadow. But i have one question. Why did you changed the max speed running animation (with the arms behind his body) of sonic? I mean i love this too but i just wanted to see why you changed it.
Thank you! I changed it because that animation was getting pretty old. And since I made a custom one for Shadow, I thought of doing the same for Sonic. There may be a few more animations changed during the development as well.

Maybe you could bring slow mo sections (quick time events) or co op with shadow (A.I) or Max Speed stages or racing with shadow. I don't know. So many posibilities.

This project makes Sonic Boom's games look pretty cheap by comparison. I'll always support fan games such as these, especially when they're handled with as much TLC and finesse as this. Sega doesn't seem very interested in making a decent Sonic game; so we aught to do so ourselves. This and Lake Ferperd's trilogy are amazing.

man great job a like it a lot just one thing that a thod a little odd is the fact of the sonic do the homing attack from below. to me its kind strange but the rest is great.

This looks really good and all, but is the boost really necessary? From the looks of it Sonic already has a pretty powerful moveset and good acceleration so adding the boost to that kind of makes him overpowered and ruins the fun. Idk, I never really like the boost in the first place so it's just my opinion. I already played an earlier demo of this game, and while it's really well made, it's just not that satisfying going fast when you can pretty much reach top speed and become practically invinsible just by holding a button : /
Technically boosting it's a burst of speed for sonic to break the sound barrier. And yeah it's necessary because sonic isn't going through stages to admire them. He wants to beat some egg-heads. Yeah he is athlethic and cool and he does freestyle tricks but he's all about speed. Without boost he reaches average speed. Max speed with boosting so sorry.
Armand Bas Good point, but why not just give him a sprint button or something like it to reach maximum speed instantly, instead of making him practically invincible every time he runs fast?
LexStorm98 Yeah is a good idea but when a horde of egg robots appears in your face you are going to stop then jump then homing attack eachone the press the sprint botton again? Do you remember in sonic colors when a hoard of robots are in your front and you had 2 options boosting into them or usig the lazer wisp in zig-zag. Not homing them. You can use boosting for split seconds or when is really necessary but sorry the boosting stays.
Armand Bas Taking down a horde of robots would be simple. Just sprint and spin and the momentum would keep you going at the same speed. Just saying, the boost is going to make the game too easy and overall boring, but I guess I'll give the new demo a go anyways : /
