Hello Friends !
If you havn't been following me on Instagram or Facebook- or happened to watch the news lately :S This might come as a bit of a shock for you. Spirituality is between you and GOD- so why am I sharing this ?!
This is my Shahada, where one testifies that they believe in One true God, and that Prophet Muhammad PBUH- is a messenger of God. This can be done in public, with people, or even whispered quietly to yourself on your own. It is with the intention in your heart that you know what you are saying and that you wholeheartedly want to follow this path.
I feel its so important to share the truth that is Islam, which is peace, love and oneness. It is one of the most critized, osterzied, and misunderstood religions worldwide from both non Muslims AND Muslims !!! As in any religion, there are many interpretations and personal views/sects, which is not the true teachings of God, this is Human flaw. And its taking away from the true essence of God and Humanity, which is oneness and equality for all, instead its creating division. I've been on a deep spiritual path now for many years, and after spending so many years in a Muslim country, especially after traveling Pakistan, I learnt so much. So much about my own self, God and what Islam really is- FROM THE FIRST HAND PERSPECTIVE. YES, maybe HUMANS do bad things in the name a religion- this is in every case, but it is not fair to condemn and judge an entire nation of people because of some bad choices or impersonators. I suggest you do not listen to those who preach, whether it be some "guru" or the media.... find your own truth by seeking Divine guidance and go deep within. Find the real truth before making presumptions, this only makes one look very angry and upset- which- I'm sure you are... the world is full of HATE, FEAR, INTOLERANCE, PAIN, and everyone wants to blame someone else!! BUT. what we fail to see is. WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER. No matter what we believe. So lets put aside the prejudices and instead of hate, evoke a question inside that says- This is a human being, created by God, one with all, who has witnessed and gone through pain in their life, and they're just trying to do the best they can. If they see solace through a religion that in turn makes them a good person who does nothing love and want love. So be it. let's all be here to support eachother. And that certainly does not mean telling someone HOW to practice or beleive. A path is a special path between you and GOD, no one can judge or tell you what to do. step by step, by learning and growing you will find your truth. This is mine :) I hope you enjoy.

Every time I watch a shahada I can't hold back my tears, kind of like when a mother sees her child getting married. Tears of joy.

Isnt it intresting that we Muslims can feel when someone is being guided by Allah.
They're usually very sweet, humbled, and genuine. When they become Muslim, they're even more brilliant and their love for Allah shines so bright.
There have been several TH-camrs that I felt would be good Muslims.... then a few years later, they're Muslim! And I didn't even know they knew anything about Islam, subhanAllah.

Here you have one. This is so beautiful!! Before i didn't know what islam is all about. Like nothing at all. I just saw lady's with hygab and i did not even know they are Muslims. I just hear people said they have their one God, i don't know. But after watching a movie of Muhamed pbuh, i was like.. but its the non believers who wanted to kill him and who has killed a lot of innocent people. I started to search more and i found Tahar ibn Ali. He explained some things of islam in his videos and i started to like islam because i was learning a lot. But now I'm in love with islam and also want to be a muslim. This because of listening everyday to the lectures of Mufti Ismail Menk. And putting them into practice. His lectures teach me to be in peace with myself and the people around me. Appreciate everything our maker has make. Care for other human been, be humble, appreciate everything my Maker gave me, "my family, my mom, my dad, my sister and brothers, my future husband in sha Allah, (we are not engage, its circumstances that we couldn't be married yet). The knowledge i have, my income. Just everithing i know that i have to thank my maker for. Also what i consider bad. I started having hope again in life because now i am sure i have a life after this one and i want to be with my Maker!

I don't see anything wrong with this.
As for your other comment, you did not mention anything wrong Muhammad pbuh did.
Also note that you ignored other verses in the chapter, but cherry picking without reading anything else is common among the ignorant people.

If you don't cover up in islam you can get 50 lashes, if you celebrate Christmas in muslim countries you can be jailed or fined. You can no longer drive or go out alone or sit next to a man who is not related to you (50 lashes) If you are raped and don't have 4 witnesses, you can be stoned to death. Please sister do not use the word he for God. You can simply say God or Allah
Serial Records go check in so many verses Allah is written as 'He' too.🙂 For example Say:He,Allah is one.

1. We have affirmation in our faith, especially if we have been going astray and neglecting our own religion; it gives us a chance to reflect and renew our relationship with our creator
2. We are happy to know that another human being has secured their place in paradise
3. We are envious in a good way because we know this revert had a tougher journey to Islam than us and that gives us immense respect for them
