At 6:04, N3sh misplayed: instead of summoning Dark Blade, he should have summoned back Mace. Mace destroys itself to add Memento Fusion, which can then summon Twin Dragon, which destroys itself to search for Combined Creation and Horned Dragon and summon back another body. Horned Dragon + body = I:P, summon Creation, and iirc there should have been a spell that the Field Spell can reset in EP.
everyone calls the level 5 'seahorse', by the way. it's based on one of those old cards where the japanese name is just an english word written in japanese, so they made the english name a japanese equivalent written in english. (like how hitotsu-me giant is 'cyclops' in japanese)
It's basically always wrong to handtrap terrortop. It either makes a rank 3 xyz or a link 2 in any deck. Even in pure Speedroids there are better spots to imperm/veiler than terratop

To answer your question though, I don't think Memento is a real deck. It's super fun and has a bunch of 1-card starters and can play a large amount of non-engine, but there's a large amount of bricks and the deck dies to literally any handtrap or boardbreaker. I'm not joking about that: Veiler/Imperm on Angwitch, Dark Blade, Seahorse or Twin Dragon really hurts, Ash on Dark Blade or Twin Dragon, Ghost Ogre on Dark Blade or Seahorse or literally any of their effects that destroy themselves. The deck dies to Nib because the deck can't set up Apollousa at any point in the combo, and it searches a lot so it dies to Droll. A bunch of their key pieces are either Dark or Light so they also die to Bystials. Since the deck relies so heavily on non-engine, the end board is typically I:P + Creation + lots of backrow, so it dies to Feather Duster, Lightning Storm, and Dark Ruler. They really needed Combined Creation to be an omni-negate. Seahorse and Terrortop are also the only two extenders in the deck. Bone Party and Fusion can be, they're more like half-extenders but you have to have the right hand to keep playing. The deck is also stupidly complicated. I highly doubt you're going to see this at a high enough playrate at a YCS to be concerned about preparing for it. The cards that you're already playing beat the deck already.

Funnily enough, the Memento Sheep in INFO is called "Sleepy" in japan 🥰 Much better than "Mystical Sheep #2"
I’m prepared to see a lot of misplays with Memento. The deck is hard for no reason.
Doesn't help that you need to resolve like 8 effects to get an IP on board
@@ericgerald2886 hey you get a 5k body too. All seriousness the cards have a huge potential but need a better payoff
It's not hard
The deck is pretty simple though?

Want more memento!!
“Didn’t matter if you did read, you were cooked there anyways” lmao
The memento cards have sick artwork i love it
Definitely prepare for it when INFO comes
Memento cranium is such a good card too, protects your masquerina or sp knight and can negate monster effs up to 5 times.
It’s okay and very easy to play around. The other trap is better.
Angwitch was supposed to remain on the field in Game 2.
Angwitch doesn't need to summon the monster to destroy itself, so it wasn't supposed to stay.
Nesh on memento is wild
Definetly need more memento matches!!!
For big momento just call him “the combined creation”
Love seeing “Meme”ento

"Tatsunootoshigo" means "Seahorse" in Japanese, so you can just call it that
i’ll try to remember this 🫡
G2 might have been better to summon out mace with the field spell so that could search out fusion spell
He wanted to have no other monsters so he can kill with combined creation
memento gyatthicc

Memento is good but veiler or impermanence the witch is game normally and the deck have a lot of bricks, but is pretty good and fun
