f35 Lightning II with wingtip rails 21st September 2023 at RAF Lakenheath

Initial tests with the wingtip rails back in 2015 showed that a wingtip strengthening mod was required to prevent tip damage during high G manouvers, this flight was carrying a dummy AIM-9X on the left hand tip filmed at RAF Lakenheath home of The Liberty Wing.
