She is known as Iron lady in MoD and in FPSC back in 2010 when Rana Bhagwan Das was Chairman of FPSC. A lot of respect for her.
@Ayub Sb. I dont know whether you have been in civil services or Technocracy? You know who has solved internal problems of various ministries? Good or bad people are at every place. I know what some good people have done. The problem is with those people who don't give a chance to their mind and look upon others for their good days. If someone is capable enough then please join this service and come up with good solution. Example: Zufiqar Cheema work for addressing passport issues. What Mrs Sethi did for Defense. Although i changed my career path after phd. Also b/c i couldnot sustained pressures from some bad fishes in the system that pushes a person to go beyond the grace level of a Muslim, a Pakistani and a concerned officer. I dont want to take certificate of imandari from anyone who have reservations on someone using brain and yet make useless points and remarks. Although i am not a part of Technocracy anymore but yet i know that good people over their are doing Jihad and Pakistan is running on the self less services of a few good Pakistanis officers and concerned people. If you have any point to make then respectfully write in the comment. B/c a person is usually known by first impression and it must be a good one with grace.

@Ayub sb. I dont know whether you have joined this service or have you been in the system. If you have good solution then please come forward and serve Pakistan. Do you even know what happens there? Pakistan is running on selfless service of few good people. Good and bad people are every where. I have been a part of Technocracy and i know that good people, who are serving their are doing jihad. Although i changed my career path after Phd yet i know that Pakistan is working on selflessness of a few people who dont want any certificate of imandari or apprciation from anyone who has reservations on usage of their mind. A few examples: Mrs sethi solved many big issues of National security, mr Zulfiqar Cheema solved the passport issue back their in 2010s. Rana Bhagwan Das appointed all persons on merit. Anyways be respectful in comments since the impression of a person's personality and Background is usually reflected in the way he talks or when he writes. I think you are a nice and concerned person and have brushed everyone with a single stroke of brush. If you feel anything bad then i apologize.

Life of a public servant, irrespective of his position, is really tough. He has to face more criticism than appreciation from all sects of the society, but the people like Ms. Nargis Sethi are so much dynamic that they can maintain a balance among all those they have to deal. During the period Ms. Nargis Sethi was serving as Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister or Cabinet Secretary, she has to deal with the rulers (political and otherwise), their party workers, other government officers, general public, foreign delegations, foreign missions inside and outside the country, etc. etc. Each of them has its own requirements different from each other, but she was such a dynamic personality that she successfully did her job and after completion of her tenure, no one was able to point a finger towards her personality.
I have the honor to work with her for a few years and that period was the best in my career. I learned a lot from her which shall be beneficial for me during my entire life.
If we have only 10 such officers in our country, we can no doubt, become a Super Power.

I'm not sure, but I have heard from online media that Pakistan's total women population stands at 52% - 53% of the total population in Pakistan.
We still remember her collaboration with Yousaf Raza Gallani. She was part and parcel of zardari regime.
