Masha Allah. The Qira'ah of Hamzah is extraodinary and very different to many other qira'aat due to its sakt (pauses) and no idghaam. I really enjoyed it. May Allah preserve our Shaykh and for him to continue reading this riwayah.
Asalamu Alaykum, I think idgham is still there just without ghunna

That's what I meant, there is jointing of idhghaam but no ghunnah on it (ghairu ghunnah), which makes the qirat unique than others.

Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good (Islâm), enjoining Al-Ma‘rûf (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and all that Islâm orders one to do) and forbidding Al-Munkar (polytheism and disbelief and all that Islâm has forbidden). And it is they who are the successful.

On the authority of Abu Sa`eed al-Khudree (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say, “Whosoever of you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; and if he is not able to do so, then [let him change it] with his tongue; and if he is not able to do so, then with his heart - and that is the weakest of faith

Assalamu alaikum. How did u go about learning it. I am studying Qiraa’at now alhamdullilah but through Shatibiyyah and Durrah poems which combine the 10 Qiraa’at in poetic formats
@@ajajssksk1757 Walikumusalam, I learned it from a teacher and we didn't really go much in to imam Shatibiyyah's poem unfortunately.

@@ajajssksk1757 I am not sure what you are referring to about "waqf" of Imam hamzah. Are you talking about saktahs?
@@nonetype3097 I meant as in stopping on words with a 'ء'. For example رؤوسكم. Or any other word with a Hamza.

Khalaf an hamzah means??
Khalaf bin Hisyam bin Tsa’lab bin Khalaf al-Asadi al-Baghdadi al-Bazzar, his kunya (nickname) is Abu Muhammad. He is one of the narrators of Imam Hamzah through the line of Imam Sulaim. In addition to being a narrator for Imam Hamzah, he also holds the status of the tenth qira’at imam who has his own (choice of) reading, which is different from Imam Hamzah.

An ignorant reader, there is no power nor strength except with God, reads the Riwayat of Khalaf, but he does not master the Riwayat of Hafs, his Tajwid is all wrong.
