I'm Excited for Lito's Evolution after this loss
Mark my word he will be back more rounded & more stronger/dangerous fighter
He still has more to offer & more Exciting than most in the top 5 of this division.

If Lito managed well to defend the takedowns & they engaged in stand-up, Lito can literally smack this guy out but its MMA, Brooks just focused on his strength(wrestling) & avoided the stand-up game & was able to control the fight in the ground. Minowa's match is different he never submitted Lito. What I'm saying is because of this kind of loss & having his superior striking what more if he levels-up his ground game!? & if they will face again I'm very confident he is going to win.

Brooks really immobilized Adiwang in his striking ability. His grappling skills is very impressive. Congats sir Brooks for the win and for sir Lito bounce back tayo next time alam namin na mahusay kang fighter.
Holy fuck I know it's effective and it gets him wins but Brooks is just a human blanket. So boring to watch. He's barely doing damage in the ground for the majority of the fight. He's worse than what Usman was before he learned to strike
yes but adiwang got him in his kick clearly but brooks used tactic to avoid another devastating kick. he felt lito's strikes obviously.
I believe Lito Adiwang can improve his defensive on grappling and how to reverse the situation..
I agreed, it's easy to say that now but just with that he could have denied the takedowns.

Brooks knew he cannot win against Adiwang's powerful strikes that's why he worked/practiced how he can avoid it. Which works for him and he won. Still, Adiwang is a great fighter. Will wait for a rematch.

Adiwang is still heavily dependent on his striking ability too much than he should be against grapplers. He should learn to balance both against them. More ground practice Lito. With proper focus and enthusiasm to learn the ground game, you'll be more complete in no time. Congratulations to the winner.

Playing on the ground grappling is the most difficult to defense, atleast you master it in a long time. Adiwang needs more tactics on how to defense on the ground, hope to see them both on rematch.
Team lakay need to practice more in grappling/ground fighting.

I saw Lito earlier today, I was in a local autoshop waiting for an item when that majestic mullet caught my attention. He was wearing a cap so I wasn't exactly sure but then saw his tats and he was dressed in a typical jogging outfit. He was there for a very brief moment though 'cause the shop didn't have what he was looking for.

brooks got the better ground game 4 sure & utilized very well & won. didn't see the calm collected thunderkid tho, over reached most of shots thrown. Would love to see a rematch in the future.

Key points for strikers vs grapplers:
1. Strike more to the mid section when they are not moving forward. So they can't easily dodge your attack by tackling you.
2. When they are moving forward, they tackle forward and fast. So it is best for beginners to sprawl fast.

The wrestling and grappling of Brooks are world class and just too much for Adiwang. Wrestling and grappling to my opinion are the Achilles heel of Filipino mma fighters.
Filipinos are good for striking. Explosive, Fast and powerful. Not built for wrestling, too small and no solid build and strength like westerners.

@@sacpac8480 I agree with the genetics part, also a very huge factor is that they have high school and college wrestling in the US unlike in the Philippines. Our school system have physical education from primary all the way to college but it's all basic non sense, trivia : pair that with a gym "instructor" with the belly of a local drunk. Being trained on that discipline at young age highly develops their agility, dexterity, muscle memory and reflexes on grappling.
