Personally I use a FUN envelope and put a certain budgeted amount in there each month for going out and for machines but bills take priority. My dad had, what I thought, was a good strategy. Ten spins on the lowest amount, ten spins on the middle amount. If it paid out then great! If not then it wasn't much of a big deal as he didn't lose a lot. He would wait until someone else played it on the higher amount and win nothing then go back on it and get the jackpot out on a 25p bet within 10 spins. I use a similar strategy but tend to find it works out better getting the "tasters" from several different games and machines.

He might have won 100 before and collected the ticket then inserted the ticket back in so it would add 100 to the total . In fact I see on the vid him transfer 100 so he did insert a ticket .
If you play these machines you will know that if you collect a ticket win wile playing and insert it back in the total it says your in for can be incorrect as it was a win not another 100 added from his pocket
