I mean it's a pretty good clone tbh. I couldn't even distinguish it from the genuine article, and I like to think that I have a very discerning eye.
It's basically a South Korean adaptation of Salaryman Champ (Tatakau Salaryman) that shared many backgrounds and sprites.

You know I gotta say: It's impressive how much is stolen from Salaryman Champ for this. (And I don't mean just borrowed ideas, I mean lifting graphics and music...)
Pretty sure that's because the people who made this game was also responsible for salary man champ. So, no not a clone or ripoff.
@@Armstrong692 ...besides the fact that the game was developed in Korea and ONLY released in the Korean market, the developer, Success is not mentioned or credited. At all.
@@fireair100 yeah about that... The Korean Wikipedia article for salaryman Champ says the developers were success corporation and distributed by Konami. The same people. The salaryman Champ game was developed by success corporation and distributed by Konami as well. So no its not a ripoff. But yeah I think this game only got a release in Korea. You might be right about that. * Edit * nevermind. It says danbi systems blatantly plagiarized the original game on that same Korean wiki article. And here I was believing that this Korean ripoff of salaryman Champ was a sequel or successor to the original.

If you ever wondered if Konami did tell Danbi to cease-and-desist with the plagiarism on display, you are right. According to Korean press, in January 2003 Konami Asia told Korean arcades to remove the game from their premises after Danbi was found guilty of plagiarism in Korean courts.
Do you happen to have further information about that? This is all I read about it, from the hardcoregaming101 forum.
"In fact, the Namuwiki page and dongA.com article has said that Konami might have possibly attempted to sue Danbi for copyright infringement and asset stealing over Office Yeoin Cheonha, but this claim has yet to be verified. It wouldn't be too surprising though, as it wouldn't be the only time that Konami Japan has sued Korean game developers for daring to sell games similar to their popular (mostly Bemani-related) products. How did you manage to get Player 2's start button to work? It won't work for me, though Player 1 and 3's start buttons work just fine.
It doesn't seem to work in MAME. I was playing the Windows port.
