@@320SimPilot I've been guessing that you've been busier either because you swapped sides of the plane, or you took that A350 job up that I posted on Discord months ago.
850 Mode unlocks the torque limiter and allows you to go to 121.4% torque to get the full 850 horsepower. With 850 Mode off, it limits you to 100% torque or 700 horsepower.
Great to see you back with the best videos on flight simming. I have all the Black Square addons and this will most definitely have its own spot in the hanger ✈️ Look forward to more content when you’re able to 👍🏼
It’s the start of a couple of great GA/business turboprops coming into the market. Piper and Pilatus inbound in the near future. Looking forward to your reviews of them! Welcome back, Captain 😃
This is the kind of stuff Iv been waiting for ! Just came back and got the Comanche and it’s pretty great. I love the more study level aircraft that’s what Iv been dying for since the release of msfs after having stuff like the hot start tbm on X-Plane
This plane is at the TOP of my list. Should be out any minute now. Lol. After this one, I will be awaiting the PC-12 from SWS. Other than these two, Im just waiting for the Twin Otter to come back so I can have a really strong island plane for my Winair routes, and finally the A330 from Aerosoft. But who knows when Aerosoft will release either of the last two.
Great showcase, I love Black Square stuff and their overhaul's - I've got the King Air Overhaul, which is pretty fantastic study and fidelity stuff. I see this isn't listed as an Overhaul but the TBM-850 is an entire new plane so on my wishlist as looks, sounds & works amazing, a great review & showcase of the plane! At £30 for this standard & most their stuff is a great price versus what you get and better than most. What I really wish Blacksquare to get around too at some point is to cover some of the classic business jets as I feel the others in MSFS are a mixed bag, many of those are lacking in fidelity, systems or not study level enough, but having Black Square do thier stuff to this standard in business jets would be amazing! I consider Black Sqaure to be the best add-on makers at the moment as I don't feel there are many better with the exception maybe to the PMDG's 737's, Fenix Airbus a320, and 146 Professional, but with some fps hits & price costs of those their not always best all round for some, Black Square are leading on many on what community wants/likes for me. Well done 320 Sim Pilot, good to see you back & thanks Black Square for an awesome release! 👍❤ I would do stuff on it on my small channel but alas I don't have the budget atm and my 2015 PC really getting old now for anything decent on MSFS, but one day.
Why is this any different to fly than the TBM in the MSFS SIM? The flight physics are the same (game) the FMS and AP are the same🙄. Go from a to b is the same? I don't get it!
I think you know but none of what you suggest there are the same. The two TBM's are different and each carry different features and characteristics. Why do you think the developer would choose to developer something that's exactly the same as something that exists in the host sim. Tip: visit the product page and read all of the product descriptions and then maybe download and read the manual. And then watch some of the tutorials that the developer has created. The volume of features and depth of realism is a different level. Kind of think you know all of this already though.
simulation of a free turbine PT6 turboprop the thing that makes this a turboprop should be modelled with some degree of accuracy and at no point have we seen that yet. We have a physics defying engine model where torque does not fall off with altitude but temperature does. The beta mode is so broken that you need keys to make it work and then it reacts like yiu have changed gear rather than changed a blade angle. I have 6000 hours in free turbine turboprops and im sorry until Asobo or the devs make an effort to model the propellor engine interface correctly along with correct torque, temperature etc so as not to break the laws of physics no Asobo turboprop can ever be called study level. We are 4 years in and continual excuses that its not possible are not true. Like Xplane devs the use of exterior code to correctly simulate these aircraft correctly is very achievable. Its simply that devs dont need to as 99.9% of the customer base are happy to remain ignorant to how bad the current turbine model is. In simple terms the current turboprop model is nothing close to what operating a real turboprop ie a PT6 is like. At what point will fellow real world pilots start to call out Asobo and devs for these very poor simulations of turboprop engines? Having in my career been fortunate enough to operate free turbines in Cheyennes, King Airs etc and fixed shaft in Conquests i fail to understand why pilots are ignoring major simulation issues and happy to pour praise on what are heavily flawed simulations.
@@hjr2000 yes I have.... I don't have it though and that's only because I have the full steam gauge overhaul lineup and and in terms of speed and performance I imagine the A2A Comanche to be close to something that is already in that lineup. This however, is definitely different. I will probably pick up the A2a Comanche at some point though lol
Indeed, very noble of you. Maybe worth paying so devs like these and publishers like us can stay in business and continue to bring you top quality add-ons such as these. Otherwise continue as is and see if you're able to help continue to put devs and publishers out of business. Your shout of course, as long as you're happy and at peace with your decision.
@@justflight well you're so called devs maybe lower the prices significantly then maybe folks wouldn't get them free. I will continue to download addons for free, all available at the click of a button. Fully working and updated when needed. You I'm afraid are just one of the idiots that pays. Enjoy getting ripped of. I know I won't be. Over 140 aircrafts on my sim, 100 plus premium airports, scenery, premium tools. Enjoyable for a low low low price of £0

Thank you! Happy to be able to get back into flight sim finally!
Great to see you back! I was becoming concerned that perhaps something bad had happened.

Thanks Capt! I’m looking forward to getting into some of these new aircraft and trying out some different styles of flying.
Welcome back Sir! Best news all day
Glad to see you return from what I imagine was a very busy summer season!
Thanks Adam, yes it’s been quite something!
My absolute favorite aircraft. It's got that sports car kinda look and feel to it. Black Square did a fantastic job with this.
Amazing how the complexity of navigating becomes once you add another dimension.
Great video Capt!
was getting worried not seeing you around TH-cam.
Glad you enjoyed it Cade, thanks!
Ah how I've missed that opening music as it always precedes a wonderful, entertaining and informative video. Welcome back Captain!
Soooo glad you are back and fingers crossed you have been in good health and spirits!

Great to see you’re back posting videos. Looking forward to the streams and hearing about your busy summer! Enjoyed the review 👍
So good to see you back. Missed your dulcet tones and professional, informative videos.
Great to see another 320 Sim Pilot video. Can you please do a video on the A2A Simulations Comanche 250?
Welcome back!🤩
Thank you!
Impressive Cockpit. Amazing. But the swan is revealed out of the lake when flying with external camera or while taxiing. Fast and easily flyable.

50:04 near miss
would this work with GSX i wonder... see some CEOs or Chief Execs boarding haha
GSX can be a bit flaky with some aircraft, e.g. the Fenix. So I wouldn't be too hopeful just yet lol
When is the release?
The Just Flight website doesn't say 😞
Allegedly this week
Today we hope@@hjr2000
