If a child is measured at +2.0 Diopters, would you prescribe a +2 diopter for that child? For full time wearing? Or would you consult with the parents, and recommend that the child NOT WEAR ANY GLASSES?
It is very difficult to get good repeatable accuracy with a Retinoscope. If possible, a trial lens and a s Snellen is far more accurete - if the person will make the measurement himself.
