These so-called "concerns" are also used in another context, such as Sexual-abuse allegations made against a Person, even if these allegations were not investigated or proven (perhaps in a Court of Law) These so-called "concerns" can still be used against a Person. So Ten year ago or even 30 years ago, if Allegations were made against a person that Later became a Dad, that He sexually abused a child (perhaps a Cousin & He did not know about the Allegations) He as a Dad can be prevented having Custody of His children ! !

I can tell you what a VPN does. It makes you have to fill our Re-Captchas on every goddamn website you visit including google. You cannot go anywhere on the internet unmolested from clicking the bikes, the traffic lights, the stairs or the busses. Plus most streamers now wont function if you are connected through a VPN. Disney, Prime etc wont let you watch anything if you are connected through a known VPN IP which these days is most of them.

Hey. If you are going to advertise for a company, can you please start getting a computing professional to fact check the rubbish claims in the Pr material. Connecting via a VPN is no safer than using a normal connection, not does it use any different encryption methods. The internet (by and large) uses two encryption algorithms: HTTP & HTTPS. HTTPS has the S on the end, that literally means secure. Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure. VPNs do not change this in any way. VPN do not stop you from being tracked either. When you connect to a website with a VPN, your real IP address is still passed on to the website in your HTTP header. It just gets passed in a different packet. VPN advertising is shameful, disingenuous and in NordVPNs case, has in the pst been illegal and full of misinformation. Just thought it might be good for someone who actually knows what they’re talking about to get a bit if input.

To be perfectly honest, I feel as though in for a penny in for a pound. Having just lost my wonderful husband after caring for him for many years, I almost couldn't care a toss if I am banged up in prison for speaking freely. I have waited an extra 6 years to get my meagre state pension that I will supposedly qualify for on Thursday. Right now, I'd almost be better off in a prison with 3 square meals a day. I am not deliberately nasty or hostile to anyone but I have the right to hold moral standards in my personal life even if others (whom I have no desire to offend) live by different moral standards. Long live the Free Speech Union!

Lots of non-crime hate coming from the budget e.g. prejudice towards farmers and parents with children attending private school. Any definition that involves the word, "prejudice" is incredibly vague. But certainly the budget has caused concern and disturbed the quality of life of a number of individuals and groups. The person responsible for the budget was the chancellor. Therefore, surely she should be investigated for non-crime hate? It's all utter BS. It's why we have laws that define crimes. Nothing else should go on a person's record. In fact, the mechanism of a hate incident being carved onto someone's record is surely a hate incident in itself. It needs to be abolished.

No, of course not. This law is, itself a symptom however. That the courts have not struck this nonsense down is a telling indicator that there is no actual right to free speech in Britain. Supposed "free speech" is, in reality, merely a privilege and only at the pleasure of the regime. The easiest of rights to exercise, and fundamental to all other rights, if you do not demonstrably have a right to free speech, you have no rights at all.

Very short. Rome was having robust laws, but it was not having a police or policing inside the gates since they were considered themselves untouchables of crime. Because Rome was not allowed to build beyond their walls (Romus, Romulus story), the import of slaves and others created catacombes for their accommodation; Now you can understand what happens with no policing in dark areas, and you can also understand that without policing the corruption starts to crowl and takes everything on its way.

I think we need a demographic breakdown of who has “non crime” hate incidents brought against them. If it disproportionately affects certain racial or ethnic groups then this could result in a form of discrimination making certain groups less likely to get a job. Especially as this requires no proof of guilt, you may not even know you have one and so have no chance to contest. It seems wide open to abuse.

My concerns regarding Non-Crime Hate Incidents (NCHIs)
    Presumption of Innocence
    - If we are to consider hate incidents at all (which is debatable), the principle of "innocent until proven guilty" must apply, just as it does for criminal offences.
    Police Role and Limitations
    - The police force is not designed or equipped to determine guilt.
    - There is an important separation of responsibilities between the judicial system and law enforcement, established for good reasons.
    Criticism of NCHIs
    - Non-Crime Hate Incidents (NCHIs) represent an inappropriate expansion of police powers.
    - With NCHIs, the police effectively assume the roles of judge, jury, and executioner, which is a concerning overreach of their authority.

How many of us are employees of "forward thinking" companies who we have seen throw hundreds of thousands of pounds at DEI "experts" and have introduced woke policies? Generally, the OU does better than other universities in this respect which is all the more disappointing. I was quite surprised that in their study material they tend to take a pretty balanced stance and don’t go down the woke preaching route you see a lot of institutions do at every opportunity. There is a battle going on in all of academia around this kind of thing. State education fell long ago and is basically 100 percent woke. Most universities have also fallen.
