Do you like to layer supersauces?😏 I like to layer cheese sauce with french fries. Btw, my track from previous tutorial 'Keep Me Closer' will be out soon, waiting for label response...
Bro this is exactly what I’m looking for, my question I’ve got a main lead, I want to duplicate that lead with a different sample first then bring in all together, every time I clone , or make unique it plays the main lead together with clone ,I want to have lower lead then main come in after I’ve played the lower lead, what do I do
I have new video about leads layering without that heavy accent:) Yes, lead layers must support each other. Each layer is like piece of puzzle. Each layer must add something new to the leads sound
@@just_dimi3 it's hard to say. If everyone will use the same presets, then there will be no difference between tracks. There are many good sounds in Nexus: LD Angel One, Orchid Drops, Magnatron, different pianos, violins. There are many good sounds for Sylenth1 in MusiCore Lost 1 and 2 packs. And also there are many good presets in Spire factory banks (EDM for life in 7 bank is really nice)
sometimes i get confused on how to make super saws sound more 'vibrant' or 'thick', like martin garrix's "high on life". I don't know whether to stack different layers or make different saw waves in different oscillators in a single plugin. the only VST i have currently is vital and I'm having a hard time making a supersaw from it.
If you want to make a supersaw, you must use oscillator with multiple voices (7-8 is enough) and detune. You can combine few oscillators with different detune value, it will make your supersaw more thick. If you want to achieve 'Martin Garrix - High On Life' leads sound, you should layer more layers. You can check my tutorial on 'High On Life' leads, i made it in March or April 2021
i recommend gain staging on the channel rack rather than in the mixer since the input volumes are the cause of clipping and not the output on the mixer
Volume knobs on the channel rack are on 80% loudness, so if you hear clipping, i guess it's because of VST built-in limiter?.. At least i haven't heard clipping because of channel rack volume
1)Select all channels you want to route to the bus channel 2)Find little 🔼 button under bus channel and click on it 3)Choose route all channels to selected channel (or smth like that)
I'm thinking about it🤔 Many people asking me to make this video. But actually, there is no secret technique for making melodies. It's just experience, nothing else. But i'll try to make a video about it in nearest future😌
'each layer i'm using has it's own purpose' I mean that you shouldn't use more layers than you need. If you use 2 layers for your leads and it sounds good - awesome. You shouldn't use more layers just because other producers use 5-10 layers. Each layer affects the sound, and if one of your layers doesn't - just remove it
